  1. You paid good money for it and someone else knows what they are getting and willing to pay you for it? Take the money !!!!!!
  2. Hey Mike glad to see another Rt-Mod trooper here on the forums. I just received my TK number a few weeks ago after completing phase 1 of my build (Phase 2 is electronics and EIB and 3 will probably be a Centurion HWT for me). Luckily for you on the shins they do not need to fully close in the back, in fact to be screen accurate they should open up some. If you watch the first scene of ANH you will notice as the troops enter the Blockade runner the shins are very much open in the back. If you still need a bit more room you can butt join the pieces together then use the extra plastic Rob includes to make cover strips. I hope theis helps you, and if you have any questions feel free to PM me. You should post as many pictures as possible so we can follow your progress.
  3. Post some pics for us of your most recent progress.
  4. I have the RT bucket and love it. It comes fully assembled with accurate stickers and is roomy enough for fans and a mic. Mine came with smoke gray lenses that needed to be replaced and the vocoder was just a sticker. I had to remove and repaint the vocoder sticker to be EIB applicable but it was not difficult. I hear if you ask Rob he can paint the vocoder and put in the green lenses in for you, but I liked the challenge.
  5. I have followed all of your builds Sean and this one turned out excellent as well.
  6. I followed this thread just to see what AA would do. I am glad to hear he is going to make things right with you. Congratulations !
  7. Have you considered RT-Mod for your next armor? I am 6'4" and the RT-kit fit me perfect very little trimming was needed.
  8. I use Velcro in the front with my belt to secure it, others use snaps its just your preference.
  9. I think TK Bondservnt 2392 has the correct pipe with holes predrilled.
  10. You misspelled Centurion too. Sorry for trolling I couldn't resist it.
  11. I would bring your forearms up a bit. Everything else looks great.
  12. The thigh ammo pack looks to be mounted incorrectly but I am not an expert. Here is how I mounted mine on a RT kit.
  13. Looks great Mark !!!! You too will be in the Star Garrison soon.
  14. The closer you get to thinking your finished the more you realize still needs to be done. Little small things and tweaks that are just as time consuming can go on for months. I have completely redone my strapping over the last two weeks and just now happy with it. Still waiting to do my first troop, I wont troop until everything is 100%... Right now I'm in a holding pattern until I get my fan battery boxes and belt clips from Jesse.
  15. Length wise my thighs fit me perfect, my current kit is RT-Mod but thinking about looking into some of your TM armor Paul. Would you recommend it for someone who is 6'4" 225 ?
  16. After weeks of tweaking my armor I am down to just the thighs being a bit bothersome. They have a tendency to swing and move around more than my other parts and I'm not sure if it is because I need to snug them up a bit or if it because I have a piece of elastic connecting them to my ab. I tried to take a picture showing the amount of room I have in them but from the pics it is hard to see. --------- So should I try to close this gap up some or replace the elastic with webbing? Just how snug should the thighs be?
  17. My kidney plate over lapse my butt plate by about a 1/2 inch. Luckily the belt covers this. I Rob told me that if you have to trim a piece trim the kidney since it is the piece that is larger than normal. I hope this helps you.
  18. Had some problems with my cod slipping and sliding around so tonight I removed the elastic and added some webbing. It has made a ton of difference, I may have to add the webbing to a few more spots.
  19. The only pieces I had to trim were the forearms and the thighs.
  20. Most rulers have millimeters and centimeters as well as inches.
  21. Did you build that T-21 yourself?
  22. I clamped my ruler down to the plastic then scored several times with an exacto knife . Bend, snap then sand if you need to.
  23. Wow this is great !!!! Will you be making your CAD drawing available ?
  24. Most of the armorers on the forum will sell you a helmet kit.
