  1. I am 6' 1" and 230 pounds. The holster is an unaltered Darman. The thigh ammo pack was mounted with guidance from Darth Aloha.

  3. My request was included in the 10/15 update but I still do not have access to create an EIB status request.

  5. I entered Meguiar's and Novus today at several forum levels for the search and came up with no results. The same thing always happened when I tried RT-Mod but I just figured it didn't like the hyphen. FWIW.
  6. I didn't see a 'pinned' topic about this while searching here or in the For Sale (Ongoing) forums so please excuse me if it has been covered. By chance I came into a second Hasbro for free during my build, so I would like to convert both at the same time. I was about to order a second Doopydoos conversion when I learned about Striker TK-4416's black molded version. The prices are roughly equivalent. Is one preferred over the other for any significant reasons? Are there yet other off the shelf conversion kits besides these? I did see Striker's conversion kit mentioned in DDay's consolidated vendors thread but just wanted to confirm if Striker and Doopydoos are the only out-of-the-box Hasbro makeover kits. Many thanks, Matt
  7. That video reduced me to a blubbering baby. I am halfway through my first build and have wondered more than once if I could hold it together next to one of these little children, especially if they were very ill or terminal. Have any of you 501sters ever had a little trouble with that?? I'm serious.
  8. OK. I suppose I could test the magnetic strips with their taped backing, rather than going straight to the E-6000. Just wondered if anybody else had tried it.
  9. I test fitted before gluing, everything is/was fine. The back (open) sides close back into place nicely around my forearms and calves. I just want to "lock" them for trooping, movement etc. and wondered if the magnetic strips might be smoother and narrower than velcro.
  10. No no, the forearms _are_ glued on one side but not both; my hands would never get through. Same with my big feet on the calves, they would never make it through the bottom. The opposite side has to be velcroed or something.
  11. Hello All, I did a search on this with no returns so if I did it wrong I apologize. I've been assembling my RT-MOD build. The fit is perfect so far. On the forearms and calves, the "open" side basically "locks," or closes back into place on me without any adjustment needed. I was marveling at the overall lack of a "seam" and it occured to me that since the "open" tabs (or layers) fit together so well, a crunchy velcro connection might actually be a little bit "in the way," if you will. Then I remembered the magnetic strips that come in a roll at Home Depot. I have used them on accordion doors to "snap" the doors firmly shut. I wondered if a strip was glued on each side with E-6000, the "open" ends would just "click shut" into place after I inserted my forearms and lower legs. Maybe a magnetic strip on each side wouldn't be much narrower than velcro, but it wouldn't crunch, either. Does anybody know of this having been tried? Thanks, Old Man Grumpus
