  1. Very cool Steve. I finally made it to DFW, maybe I can see this in person.
  2. Just watch out for HOT temps. It can cause this glue to come apart.
  3. Wow Danny, I had no idea you were hurt. I'm so sorry man but glad you are back on your feet. I'm a Harley guy myself but have much respect for you and your rides. Take it easy and get some rest. Very glad you are okay my friend...!

    All good points and posts. I love being a character and the costume just enhances that part of me. When the helmet is off, I'm Jim, but when I'm in costume, it's TK-8455 (or whatever costume I have on). I don't act silly, just sort of "play the part" as much as possible. I think we all have used the word "citizen" from time-to-time and that plays into the role. The biggest question I am asked is "where did you get that costume"? My response is always, "Lord Vader and/or the Empire". If the helmet is off, then I get more personal and talk to folks that are interested in the Legion, armor, and/or costuming in general.
  5. I did the same to my Hyperfirm and it turned out great.
  6. You might hit up Sonnenschein for a D-ring. Great deals -- > http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showuser=3770
  7. Hey man, I'm not an ICN expert but I would say "yes". It makes the most sense to me. Hope you get some more feedback though...
  8. It's all good man. You will get and take many, many more photos. Just keep an eye on what you like, and don't like and that will help you make adjustments along the way. Nice job overall.
  9. Awesome newsletter! Thanks once again for an awesome monthly FISD publication. Top notch and very well done!
  10. Such a great looking weapon. I love the pics, but not the price!
  11. Looking good trooper! My only comment would be to lower your biceps a tad bit. It helps if you attach some elastic to the bicep and the forearm parts. That helps keep the spacing in order. Great job!
  12. Unfortunately, I get this too and it's caused by an inability to find the off-switch in my head. Way too many thoughts, you must be a Scorpio too?! Seriously, I tried Melatonin a few years ago and it works pretty well. This is a natural hormone released by our brains. Try a 5mg sublingual tablet, goes under the tongue, about 15-20 minutes before you want to go to sleep. Make sure you turn the lights down low, and that also helps too.
  13. Let's see...I was able to post your pic link with no problems. Not sure what's up.
  14. Helmet is looking good man. I would prime that puppy before painting it gloss white. As for posting pics, once you have uploaded them to Photobucket, just hit the little img button (^ above ^) and copy the "direct link" image URL from Photobucket. You can post your pics into your WIP topic. Like this:
  15. No problem man, we're all here to help. The last thing you want is to end up with a "Popeye" forearm look. I would try and trim a little off the forearms first and see if your cover strips will work.
  16. Hey...it's a WIP, right?! Not too bad. Aside from the helmet replacement, I would play around with the fitting a bit (like lower your biceps some). Ground up: boots are cool, adjust your ammo belt some, def fix your belt and paint the Ab buttons, better hand guards, and maybe a new TD control pad. Also, consider the size of the forearms, they look a little big.
  17. Looks like you had a great troop. Awesome pics, thanks for sharing!
  18. The best DLT-19 is a Hyperfirm from Lewis @ Sci-fire...imo. Check out this post --> http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=20329
