  1. Toddo has the righteous footer going on.
  2. Yeah...FX, and the "501st approved" comments always crack me up. As stated above, it comes down to the setup, fit, and wearer for approval.
  3. I remember getting mine from Lewis. It's a work of art, very nice!
  4. Yep...the Spec Ops Novatrooper is your guy. http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TX_novatrooper_medic
  5. Warning: It's addictive! I've got a Doopy/Hasbro conversion, a Doopy's full resin and a Hyperfirm from Sci-Fire. I'm now working to obtain a Sterling and convert it.
  6. I have seen one up close and it was rather nice. Pretty unbeatable for the price and durability.
  7. Welcome to the FISD! I'm very close to your size at 6"2 and 165lbs and do the ANH Stormtrooper. I sport the AP armor with an MTK helmet from Mike at Trooperbay. The ATA and AM armor are not a bad choice, but you have options.
  8. Ugly, but was a real helmet/mask from that time. I remember seeing it as a kid in the 70-s and drooling over it.
  9. Welcome to the FISD! Most of the troopers here are ready, willing, and able to help. Just read through some of the links provided above and reach out to ask questions. We're all friendly here and will help you get going.
  10. As always...nice work on another awesome newsletter!
  11. I have the 10W Aker + iComm setup from TK-6294 (Jim S). It's awesome. I paired it up with a small MP3 player and play the 501st TK loop through the amp along with the static burst for my voice. Well worth the investment.
  12. I have a Cushman, but the pull was terrible. I put a lot of work into it and made it better but would not refer anyone to them. My Sci-fire DLT from Lewis is a work of art. Get one, you won't be sorry.
  13. I'm 6"2, 165lbs and wear AP armor. It works very well for me. -----------
