  1. Thanks for making your modifications so promptly. You will need to supply an action shot to complete your EIB application Well done trooper.
  2. Impressive. Did you rework another bump in? Can we see the other side too?
  3. Hi Stephan This is a nice application all round. It's nicely form fitted and looks good on you. I don't like to see the knee plate so low down, but it is screen accurate for at least one stormtrooper with reference pics so that is clear able. I was going to suggest a slight mod to your thigh ammo pack corners, but this was already suggested and you have attended to it. It's just your Thermal Detonator TD tube colour to clear up. It must be Gray and we need good screen shots to show it is Gray. In the past I have hand painted the shown parts of a TD tube with enamel paint. I find that the brush marks disappear and blend in with enamel paint. I have used the same Gray as used on your helmet cheeks and traps. Please show some clear pics that your TD is this Gray or paint your tube. Good luck trooper, you're nearly there.
  4. Much better. Approved. Congratulations on your EIB award.
  5. Hi Billy Can you clean up the teeth area? Just the teeth should be grey, as mentioned in the basic CRL, The EIB CRL states that the helmet decals and paint need to be correctly painted so it can't just be ignored. Try scraping the excess paint with a wooden toothpick first. If that doesn't do it, then you can use enamel paint thinners on a cotton ear bud, then wipe off with a tissue. Here is good reference. http://www.starwarshelmets.com/original-stormtrooper-helmets-sub-submenu.htm ESB and ROTJ helmets tend to be painted full mouth as yours is.
  6. How to post pics Open up a free of charge Photobucket account. Upload your pictures to your Photobucket using their easy uploader routine. Once the picture is there You have an option to see the photos hosting properties. Click on or copy the [img/] line of code. You simply paste that in your post here. You can either type a description or comment the paste the code after. Or just past the code in its own reply. Good luck and we look forward to seeing your pics.
  7. I would start your bell with a return edge like the one on the left. If you need to trim and adjust later then you can. The bicep strap looks very loose and thus useless in the pic. I always glue the strap to the bicep so the the elastic goes from one side to the other looking tight. Ie no loose flappy bit like the pic. This way the bicep strap will be functional to help keep the shoulder bell in place.
  8. Hi Billy, i'm going to recommend 3 easy adjustments for your EIB application. 1. Front AB belt, the corner cuts should be diagonal cuts not rounded as appearing in the pictures. Cut to meet your canvas belt. 2. A bit of trimming is required on your thigh ammo pack to bring the rivet a little closer, to appear closer to the corner. 3. Your forearms need pulling up a bit so that they are not sitting on your wrist and appear in between your elbow and wrists. Are they strapped, or foam packed? Nearly there trooper.
  9. Hi Jason, I am going to grant your EIB and thank you for making the adjustments. For the record, I feel that your canvas belt is a bit too wide, and the overlap of the belt behind the TD is a little too long. Your adjustments have made the best of a tall guy in a small suit Your look is a massive improvement over the basic pass and the whole point of the EIB program. Congrats trooper.
  10. Hi Nic, Not all of the required EIB pics are here? I need to see your blaster. You are close to an EIB pass but need to attend to a few areas. 1. Your helmet tube stripes appear to be too dark a blue. French blue is the blue to use. Please refer to the tutorial colour chart or here. 2. The elastic used on your shoulder ribs is too thick. 3. I also have a few small queries in relation to your canvas belt. It appears to be too wide. It should be narrower than the front AB belt, and the ab belt should taper to meet it. The canvas belt also appears too long, are you able to trim off the excess length? Please post up the width of your AB belt, next to a ruler and the width of your canvas belt next to a ruler and I may consider letting it pass once I see the measurements. Do your thermal detonator clips allow your TD to sit down on your canvas belt properly? I see it way up in the air in one picture. I can pass your AB rivets for EIB as they are an accuracy enhancement rather than a requirement but they are way off and will not do for a centurion application. So, in summary, it's the Blaster pics, a bit of paint and elastic. A TD tweak and a belt adjustment. Keep going trooper.
  11. Hi Jamie, your EIB application needs some tidying up I'm afraid. I am going to list these areas for you. * Your Right Rear shine overlap is facing the wrong way, It should overlap towards the other leg, not outwards where it can be seen, * Your thigh ammo pack needs fitting in the correct place and the curve forming in to the lower corners * Can you re-strap the butt plate so that it fits a little bit lower down on you? * Your ribbed shoulder bridges to chest plate straps appear untidy with excess glue showing, I would like to see the straps actually moved if you are going to tidy this up so that they fit a little closer inward on the chest plate. * Whilst attending to this area, you may be able to get your shoulder straps to sit lower and on your shoulders. * The Velcro that is holding your drop boxes, should ideally be replaced with white 15mm elastic. * Your drop boxes can afford to actually move round towards the front a little more. They are lined with the back of the last front belt ammo boxes, can you line them with the front of the last ammo box? * Can you shorten the cod to butt plate strap to bring the gap in your cod plate a bit closer into your body. I'm not a fan of the overlap construction method used on your armour build, The construction method is most evident on your thighs. The right front thigh top is of a particular concern to me. Both thighs do not fit you very well around the knee area, where they are simply too wide. * Can you taper these in at the bottom? All these fixes are achievable one step at a time at very low cost. Good luck trooper.
  12. Gee, your a big guy. The biceps and forearms look much better spaced now. The last improvement I can suggest is to rotate your shoulder bells round a bit more to close up the black triangles to have a the front. You have large gaps at the front and very small gaps at the rear so I can see that there is room to rotate them. In an attempt to keep the bells where you want them to be, we have the bicep to shoulder bell connecting strap set off centre. I've seen a tutorial about the here on the FISD. Your EIB application will not be affected by this bell gap request. I have suggested it as an improvement only to sharpen your look, so that you yourself will be happy with your pictures. I will give your application a final check over later on.
  13. Refereeing to your first full kit test on the 9th June. Your thighs need to come up. At least 2 inches to close the gap near your cod. This will also give you vital space to walk with. Your biceps are too big, they need tapering in at the bottom around the elbow area. This armour needs to form fit you. Then you need to strap it for comfort and fit. Hopefully you can get them shoulder bells under control.
