  1. Hi Michael, your application is a nice EIB applciation and fit on you. To complete your applcaition can you attend to the following. 1. Repair the rear of your right thigh. 2. Show a ruler in the picture against the width of the tan straps on your holster. 3. Attend to whatever issue is causing your AB and Kidney armour to not line up at the sides. Good luck trooper, very nearly there.
  2. Status of EIB application checked today 7th October 2013 Awaiting final completed applciation pics after modifications. Good luck Trooper
  3. Status of EIB application checked today 7th October 2013 No updates found.
  4. Status of EIB application checked today 7th October 2013 No updates found. P.S. attending to those shoulder bells is an easy modification for the EIB award.
  5. Nice build and application. I am going to award you the cebnturion award here and now. I have two pointers that you shold take on board. 1. Your boots are supposed to look worn and scuffed as part of your Centurion applcaitino. This naturally occurs when you use your armour for trooping. 2. Your thigh armour would look better id you lengthen the straps by about half an inch, thus dropping the thighs down a bit. This will reduce the black gap at the rear of the knees, and create a small gap at the top of your thighs and give you more movement, expecially up and down steps. Congrats trooper
  6. I didn't know what you meant by ... I can loose some calves. What do you mean? Then your next statement is saying ... Do not give me Centurion. I understand that English is not your first language so I am trying to be helpful for you. To be honest, I haven't completed your centurion application. You seem to tick all the boxes but I personally don't like the look. Whether I like the look or not is irrelevant? The question is... Does your centurion application meet the criteria for an award. Do you meet the CRL ? Please be patient.
  7. Hi Jose, I don't understand what you mean or what you are trying to say ? Sorry
  8. Yes the cuts are canon. They were there to give the film troopers the ability to bend their legs. In general, if you don't need to make the cuts, then don't. In this case, the cuts are not close to the joints as the armour is small on this trooper. The black gaps around the knees look large.
  9. Hi Jose, Do you have side and back photos to show the community? This front pic shows a massive improvement. You have created an approximate 30mm gap between your ab buttons and the bottom of your chest which looks better. You have lowered the ab panel. This in turn has lowered your cod and made the gap above your thighs look better. It would be nice to see how you have improved the back and sides. Thank you and well done.
  10. Hi Jose , As you know, I feel that your thigh and shin front cover strips look a little wide. I may ignore this if you show a ruler alongside their width to show a scale size. There is one modification that I would like to see done please, followed by a set of kitted up pictures. This is to attempt to address the large black gaps between the top of your thighs, front and rear and your AB plate and butt plate. I presume that you cannot pull your thighs anymore? Therefore, can you lower your buttplate and cod strapping a bit? There looks like room to bring these sections down a bit. I just want to see how or if we can make your armour sit on you a bit more centurion like.
  11. EIB approved Congrats trooper. Well done on your attitude to the corrections and for achieving them
  12. Hi Evan, To proceed with your application I would like to see fully kitted up pictures again when you are ready. Your armour needs trimming and adjusting to fit you better. I understand that you are a UKG trooper and should come into an armour party for help with the modifications. I would suggest that you accurately measure your height and check again who supplied your holster.
  13. There are loads of ways to adjust those biceps. Here are 3 suggestions. 1. Shorten the top strap that connects them to the shoulder bridges 2. Tighten the bicep strap, I can see them flaring out forwards, rather than over the bicep, this is causing the black gap to appear larger. You could also gently heat them an pnich the bottom corners in. 3. You can add a snap and strap between the bell and bicep, to bring the gap in, this will also help keep them in place as you move your arms around.
  14. Hi Soren, If your completed pics were up, here and now, I would have granted your EIB after seeking those little adjustments. It's my job to review the EIB applications and police the CRL , but I do not think that there is anything wrong with your look and side gaps, therefore I'm inclined to clear it. Your application looks better and "more" EIB than most other that check all the EIB CRL tick boxes.
  15. In general, your application and armour look nice. You need to meet the EIB blaster requirement so Please can you mod the 7th T track and add the holes. You don't need to have the shoulder bridges white tie down elastic on the rear of you shoulder ribs, but why not add them? The following comments will not affect your EIB application. You are the same height and weight as me, but you've made the smallest ATA armour look large on you. Your thighs could have tapered in a bit more round your knee. I don't see why you've used such wide cover strips to the rear of your thighs and shins. Your forearms are at different heights and positions on either arm. In summary, nice build on you. Hasbro blaster mod left to complete.
  16. Let's see your completed mods finished pics for final review. As mentioned before, each application is unique.
  17. I refer to the rear of the top, of your left shin. If shins are too long, most people cut from the bottom of the shin to drop them down. The comfort cuts, should never exceed beyond the ridge area.
  18. Hi Evan, Can I have your height and weight please to consider your application. As this stands, the armour doesn't fit you well. It doesn't look form fitted. It's not ready for an EIB award. I think it needs adjustment, strapping and trimming to look right. Who made the holster? What's it made of? Where are your shoulder strap rear tie down straps? Why have you over trimmed the top of your left shin?
  19. Why have you cropped this picture! I would like to see full kitted up pics of you with the mods please. The gaps between the shoulder bells and chest plate still look too large in the cropped picture.
  20. I like your look and build. If you have attended to your thigh gap, Have you also shortened the right shoulder bell elastic to bring in the right shoulder gap? I'm not too worried about your ab to kidney side gap. It looks in proportion to your body, however the CRL does specify a half inch gap. You are allowed a seam for EIB Can you add a shim do that the CRL requirements are all ticked off? If not, please pm me with your reasons and I Will have your application put to a voting panel. Good luck trooper, You are very nearly there.
  21. Of course Velcro can be used on the back of your shins for closure. In fact most of us UKG troopers use Velcro. I know the originals used a bra and elastic arrangement which opens and closes at the back as you walk. That's ok for prop replication, the Velcro closure also helps pull in the shins so that they look nice and slim (form fitted) from the front view. I look forward to seeing the rest of your mods.
  22. I've been waiting to see if you were going to submit pictures of you with your helmet sitting lower at the back of your head and with your blaster ejection port moved back. It doesn't appear forthcoming I am happy with your hand painted tube stripes. Happy with your backplate and wonky TD on your belt. Your biceps look fine to me in size, proportionate to the rest of your build and body. All I'm all, there is nothing here really to prevent you from an EIB award. Congratulations. If you have time to correct your blaster and post up new pics of you with your helmet padding corrected then please add them to this thread.
