  1. Hi Joshua. In a nutshell... You look good in your amour All looks nicely in proportion. I have 3 critiques, that "should not" affect your EIB application. 1. Your holster and straps look very long. We have seen this very recently on another trooper that was 5" shorter than you in height. 2. Your TD looks a little wide. What is its overall length? It may be that the end caps needs to go on a bit more or the metal clips move towards the end caps. 3. And finally, can we see a close up of the bottom of your left thigh? I can't quite tell from the pics submitted what is going on there? Have you used the cover strip or overlap construction method? Good luck Trooper!
  2. Did you say this was a "darman" holster? On a 6ft Trooper? Just checking ...
  3. @stormy320 It's the end cap to an E11 blaster gun. The pictures show the machining talent this guys has and this the rest of the build is likely to be hand made and detailed.
  4. Live with the acetate for as long as you can bear it, then consider the following upgrade. If you don't want people to see your eyes. If you want clearer vision If you wish to mount to the side screws If you wish to leave a gap at the bottom of your lenses for ventilation. Then upgrade to welding visor material.
  5. Hi Matt, Are you referring to the acetate material that is often shipped out with helmet kits?
  6. Thank you for posting this thread. The work and pics are very inspirational. Superb work.
  7. That's beautiful work. I foresee an impressive build thread here.
  8. What part of your Armour needs the 1" foam?
  9. Cool. I can't wait to see your amazingly detailed armour build once you start
  10. Well.. Seeings as your online at the moment... I dry brushed my last two E11's
  11. Is it worth looking at this thread for an idea of what to do with a Rubies? http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/18207-Starting-to-think-about-creating-my-Death-Trooper
  12. I had one of these as a starter amp. The first thing I did was cut the mic cable and then wire in a 3.5mm female jack socket. You can then plug in any mic that you wish.
  13. Looks alright from me. What material is it made of? It looks soft and comfortable.
  14. I had a few suggestions that the UKG use. 1. Put some washing up liquid on a tissue. Then rub it into the lens. Then polish off. 2. You can do the same thing with a motorcycle visor cleaner substance. 3. Insert a small fan in your helmet for airflow? Directed at the lens. Mine is located under the lens facing upwards. This provides ventilation to the face and acts as a demister. The washing up liquid works very well though, also tried that. Good luck Trooper.
  15. On the UKG forum we have a thread about this too. Our non contact goes back to the 2nd October
  16. Have a look at this thread. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/21610-Shoulder-Bell-Rotation-Issue
  17. Thanks Andrea. The FISD are aiming for at least 800 members to take their Armour from the basic clearance level to at least EIB. Your spec detail will help the 1000's of basic Stormtroopers to see how your build is put together, what components to have used, your height and Armour type etc. This is great and useful information for all aspiring others. As you can see, EIB awards so far, worldwide are under 300.
  18. The bonus pictures outdoors are great.
  19. Hi Andrea Well done so far. Can you add some some text to the start of your build info please. Quite a lot of it is missing. Please see a couple of EIB applications to copy theirs. Thanks and good luck.
  20. You have been so enthusiastic over the forum, I also can't wait for you to start a wip and your armour build.
  21. Question for the DO. 1. Do the AB plate rivets and bracket screws have to be painted white? 2. Are you happy with the shape of the mounting studs used to attach the holster to the canvas belt as seen from the close up outside picture of them?
  22. Well spotted Sven, I can see that now on the outside edge of the sniper plate as seen in the front face on Picture.
  23. One more thing, you need a side view picture of your thigh ammo pack. Thank you.
