  1. No problem! I appreciated it! I always appreciate it when people link to my site with or without credit. Good to be loved... or at least looked at. haha
  2. If you do mod your MR CE and -----AND need any help, please let me know... I'm always here to help those who need it as much as I possibly can.
  3. Very nice man!! Does the ANH bucket needs the eyes trimmed out a bit more? It looks like there's an "edge" to it that the ESB one doesn't have. But they look great!
  4. The lenses might work. The tube stripes would not as they would be HUGE on that MR CE. You can get them for like cheap from quite a few places. Good luck! And post pics when you have them!
  5. Man... that's a nice looking bucket! Great purchase... congrats!
  6. Or like Joe Pantoliano's character "Ralph Cifaretto" on the Soprano's after Tony and Christopher were done with him...

  8. Congrats Josh! What mods (if any) are you planning on doing?

    Just Curious...

I apologize if this is a "taboo" on the forums... talking at all about politics. But, I figure if none of us really state our opinion it can remain civil. I'm just curious out of the "micro-cosmos" of a society that we're in (namely the 501st and other troopers) who will be voting for whom? Again... just vote, no need to comment on who you voted for or why. And, if this must be removed, I understand.
  10. Nice stuff! I'm gonna have to get one of these eventually... thanks for the links / ideas all!
  11. I like this! How'd you do it? A heat / craft iron? Very nice. (everything on this build is nice... except I sew for my wife, not her for me) haha
  12. Yeah... me too. Pics will be amazing. Although, I must say that as much as I like the modded "idealized" MR CE I have, if I had a TE2 I would revel in its unsymmetrical / screen accurate glory. Oh... and good to see Alex back on here!
  13. I thought about getting 42 in mine... but since we don't know what the question was what's the use?
  14. I'm impressed so far man... looking forward to seeing it all done and all the inbetween pics!! Try painting again... don't do decals! Not for screen accurate! Or here's an idea... Get some blank white "contact paper" — you know, what people use for shelf lining etc. — Wal-Mart (or whatever it is in Japan) probably has it. Then cut out the shapes and paint on those! Then you can try 100 x until you get one you like... peal the back off and apply it to your bucket. The great things about that idea will be that 1) it will come off easily if you want it to, and 2) they'll look (and be) hand painted. Just a thought.
  15. I love the instructions that apparently come with the AP kit... they're so well drawn and good! Thanks for the post. The helmet is looking great!
  16. Does anyone put this little fabric (or whatever) strap on the back of theirs to hold down the shoulder strap? ---------
  17. Man, these are great looking lids guys (and girls)... congrats!

    My TK #

So this is fun... I'm looking through my website stats... where people came to my site from and such, and I see someone found my TK website by searching for "8541"... my TK id #. Well, I open up Google to see what placement with that number I get (4th down btw) and I notice that the first 2 links have something to do with a military designation. I open them up and, come to find out, "8541" is the designation for a Marine Scout-Sniper! Of course I'm not a "Biker Scout"... but Biker Scouts don't have Sniper positions... Stormtroopers, however, do have Scouts. First in the field in other words. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scout_Sniper This is really cool because I've wanted to "classify" myself as a "stormtrooper sniper" for a while now. In fact, I just ordered a hyperfirm Heavy Blaster to troop with. So... I just thought it was cool. My number ended up meaning more than I intended it to mean. Has anyone else Googled their TK IDs? Do any of yours mean more than you knew?
  19. Very well said man! I think that's it for me too... and yeah, I took like 2 months to finish mine. I'm glad so many agree with me... that's always nice to see. Message board acceptance... ahh... can life get better?
  20. Wow... that's sad and hilarious all at once. I'm sure he doesn't "dress up" at all... I mean what's suit and tie? Only a conformist's costume. We all conform, and "costume," in one way or another. None of us ever display who we really are in public... wouldn't you agree? I think he needs counseling.
  21. It gets even BETTER when you finally realize that giving is really better than receiving and you decide to ship them all to me. (Of course I realize that may be years from now... but I can wait.) Congrats man! I'm excited for build pics!!!
  22. If you're only considering "product" vs. "time" this argument works. But I think of the MasterCard commercials... MR CE Bucket $100... Modding Supplies $150... Time in Hours Modding it $9,000... Experience, pleasure and overall reward you get from doing it? Priceless As for the screen accurate bug... still haven't gotten it. I'm actually trying to think about how I can get some screen accurate armor later... like TE or AP... and then mod it so it's idealized. haha I love the accurate stuff, but I like being sleek and symmetrical. At least still for now. Screen accurate will come for me if I ever do a TD. THAT I would want to be "wonky" and all!!
