  1. Meh. Don't really see what the fuss is all about... So, yeah, it's a stormtrooper. Haven't we seen that way too many times already. Come on get a little creative. Just kidding, Karin. You know I think it looks ACE. You sure make the stormtroopers look good, with or without helmet. Looking forward to seeing you live.
  2. Looking fabulous, Karin! Can't wait to see it live next week.
  3. YAY! Congrats, Mr. Voisey! Good to see more of us Vikings joining the EIB ranks!
  4. Thanks for all your hard work! I'm really sad to see you close up, but real life is pri 1.
  5. Good looking suit, but I need to chime in with the others. The elastic on your boots should also be white. Once these things are fixed, it should be really nice.
  6. Stomper's are superb. I've never experienced feedback with them, and they are clear and crisp. Reccommended from here. Just be careful how you set up your mic, and use a unidirectional mic so it doesn't pick up on everything around you.
  7. That's a thing of beauty. Some pics seem to be missing though, the ones showing the sidegaps being closed.
  8. Oh, I remember opening the box when I got my armour. The excitement. You're going to have a great time, sir.
  9. Here at home, we (me and my GF) have built both an FX and an AP, and I used only ABS weld on the FX, not one thing have fallen apart yet, after plenty of troops. The AP was put together using ABS weld to fasten two edges of ABS to eachother, then securing it with strips glued with E6000. Which also seem to work extremely well.
  10. Here's what I see (Not trying to be mean, just some tips on where to go next. ): 1. You need to smoothen the edges of the biceps and forarms. They point out and aren't smooth at all. If you leave them like that, you'll get some really hurtful armour kisses, and to be honest, it doesn't look good. 2. Have the ab-plate and bqackplate adjusted so it gets snug fit to your body. Make sure it comes up beneath you chest plate. 3. Is your thighs fastened by velcro in front? If that's the case, I suggest glueing the thighs together front and back.. They should be large enough so you can slide your foot in. Use Stukatroopers build as a refrence on how to do that. 4. You habe the right thigh on you left leg and opposite. 5. You need to get hold of an ammo strip for the right leg. 6. The kneeplate shin seems to be on the wrong leg. It should be on the left. Just switch the two shins. 7. You will need some hand plates. You have correctly coloured ab buttons, which is very good, and the helmet looks very good as well. You seems to have some work in front of you, but that's the fun in the TK-business. Good luck.
  11. Congratulations, trooper! Nice to have another elite of the Nordic Garrison. We should be 3 now trooping this weekend.
  12. Looks really good. And nice way to have the elite standards implemented but not just pulled down over peoples heads. Would like to see the helmet section a bit more tidy though. Hard to read such a massive block of text. (Speaking as the English teacher I am... )
  13. Looking good, trooper. And of course, that's you friendly neighbourghood TK-7060 looking out from the blanket there. Like to stick my nose out here and there.
  14. You do not need to change the FX holster to be accepted, though it would look better. I got accepted with the FX holster, then changed it later to the correct ANH holster style.
