  1. He has resin, wish he had metal too. Will ask Thanks
  2. Thanks Vern. I know about your problems, sorry to hear about that. Your dedication to blasters is unbeatable. I have to admit that this built was not done by me, but the friend who did it, had an excellent eye for details. He went for the best. The door catch/latch greeblie is the only part he didn't get, again from what I understand he wanted the best from a possible RPF run that never happened alas. What would you recommend for the door catch?
  3. Thanks a lot Vern and Mathias. This board was an inspiration for me! Vern already tried to help me some time ago, and glad finally was able to get this rare blaster in my hands. Now hopefully our talented friend Andy will make the cool metal stand run seen here, though a minor modification will be needed for MGC's due to the first hammer greeblie and the back support that touches it.
  4. I finally got an original and mint full metal MGC (Model Gun Corporation - Japan) Stormtrooper blaster, and it is one of the best conversions I've seen. True prop collectors know how rare these things are, I wanted one for ages. It still misses a small greeblie, but I will get that separately and add it myself. The Stormtrooper blaster comes with: - Aluminum scope rail - Accurate Weaver Scope Ring - Aluminum Scope with separate glass lens (from Boba Debt's last run) - Aluminum Barrel Rails - Accurate Mr. Sparkle Hammer Greeblies - Real RO72 Sight - Lightly weathered And it also came with the original MGC cardboard box from the 80's, which is insanely cool. Now to make some plaques and a cool metal stand for this beauty. Special thanks to the two friends who so kindly helped me with getting this baby.
  5. Depends on your luck and the condition of the M38/M40 scope. They come from time to time for sale here or on RPF.
  6. You can modify a M38A2 by filling up the middle groove and make it look like a regular M38/M40.
  7. The accurate ones are M38, M40 and M19.
  8. Very cool Dennis! Show us some interior pics please!
  9. Here it is the resin Pugman ESB E-11 used in ROTJ: ----------
  10. Seems the ESB Pugman was used in ROTJ: ---------
  11. Very cool, love to see all these variations! Thanks for sharing
  12. This site in US might help you find a good Sterling base: ---- I'd stay away from their conversions though, they are not that accurate. You could also get a Sterling at IMA USA: http://www.ima-usa.com/british-sterling-smg-mk-iv-parts-set-with-barrel-and-magazine.html
  13. I'm a bit sad seeing the beautiful Sterling cut in half, but the result will be fantastic and pretty unique.
  14. The MR scope is a copy of M38/M40 with rounded foot. Pretty cool targeting sytem on it too.
  15. I had a similar idea long ago when I got my Sterling. -----
  16. These look pretty cool indeed, better than the old Hasbro
  17. I think it's that guy on the Facebook props group. He's out of this world (and quite arrogant too).
  18. Very cool! Nothing beats a good conversion!
  19. I own both a Sterling conversion and a MR Stormtrooper blaster (I even used to have a looose MR I got for a nice price) and I can say the MR version is very cool, and in some ways comparable with the real deal. Regarding the price, you should only pay as much as you feel confortable with, but this should apply for everything in life. The MR is full metal, and copies the Sterling pretty accurately, though being a bit idealized, but not more than many fan made E-11 I've seen. The scope has a nice targeting system on it, the trigger, selector switch and folding stock are all fixed and non-movable, and there's no cocking mechanism. It doesn't come with Hengstler or cylinders, but they can be added pretty easily. You can even replace the scope with a M38/M40/M19 if want to. There was a prototype MR that came with Hengstler and Cylinders, it is owned by a Rebelscum member: ------ They all come with a cool mirror base, a cool COA and numbered plaque. Some MR E-11 blasters might have a crack where the back suppot for the blaster is, due to its weight. You can see a comparison of my MR and Sterling below: --------
