  1. There were quite a few M38A2 on ebay lately, some for good prices too. Though they are not accurate as they come, you can modify them for your blaster as said above. And the price can be much lower compared to the M38/M40 versions. Good luck
  2. This seems very nice and quite successful even before released. Not sure how you can cut up the mag (if at all possible to modify as an E-11 mag) or change the muzzle tip to be more accurate to the C1
  3. $300 hmmmm... Not sure, I'll see if worth getting.
  4. nice but for ROTJ E-11 I would ONLY go with a MGC. Wish these guys did a classic Mk4 L2A3 instead of this copy of a copy.
  5. I'm no autpgraph expert and it is a nice collection of autpgraphs, but, sorry but they are not that rare. Some are harder to obtain than the others, but not that difficult to get them. And some are redundant seeing them for a lot more than once: Ian McDiarmid, Kenny Baker, Tem Morrison, Carrie Fisher etc. The price is waaaay too high.
  6. I never got into making my Hasbro kit, and one of the reasons is that even when finished it will not look that right. IMO go for the pipe or wait for full kit. Doopys kits (not Hasbro conversion of course) are also more accurate than Hyperfirm, though Hyperfirm being rubber is a bit sturdier.
  7. Seen it on RPF IIRC. Nice but IMO the $500 price is way too high for what if offered.
  8. Very cool build! The blaster details are great! I also like the stand you made!!
  9. In fact I was thinking of doing that with my MR extra magazine I have. We'll see
  10. Thanks Mathias. Know what you mean. Still a LOT of paperwork here to allow this too. Not sure if I'd go again through all this hassle.
  11. As you may already know in some countries it is not allowed to own a dry firing demilled Sterling. And thus not allowed to have a full magazine either - no bullets, not even fake ones. So instead of having the magazine that goes into my Sterling just an empty shell, I decided to make it look a bit more sci-fi, but still somehow realistic, and in a way that it can be returned to its original appearance immediately if wanted to. So I put inside the cut magazine some black foam I used to have from an airsoft pistol box, and then added some plastic thingies I got from a disposed plug, plus a furniture connector. The end result is this: It can be taken off easily, and you can add back the original spring if wanted to. It looks much better than an empty magazine when you look at it.
  12. Great attention to detail!! Excellent job!
  13. Really nice Pugman blaster rendition!!
  14. This sounds like a very nice project Zach! Good luck! Indeed, looking at some completely cut Sterlings pics at IMA makes me cringe.
  15. Family and close friends are the most important in life, they are the loved ones. When they depart a piece of our soul goes with them, but also a piece of their soul remains with us. We will all rejoin beyond the rim.
  16. Thanks Mark and Stefan! I guess Vern already asked about this here: http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?68349-Sterling-L2A3-Serial-Number-question&p=620455&viewfull=1#post620455
  17. Thanks for the info. That book seems pretty interesting, but quite expensive indeed. I have seen KR and S (or maybe SI?) models so far. BTW do you know please what would that S or SI go for? Any pics of US and UF? Are these separated by cricnkle/regular paint in any way too?
  18. Please does anyone has some info on the Sterling serial numbers? Year of release, type, country etc.? Thanks
