i was greatly responsible for sending the price so high on that cheng auction (scott will's auction, btw) <_< i cant justify going any higher than that. my caboots are starting to look really good lol

I do have an SDS, but it is a Battle Spec, openly claimed not to be from any original molds. It is their (supposedly) stylized, cleaned up product. And, it is dimple-less. The SDS comparison should technically be made to their Stunt helmet. If anyone has one of those, it could be checked. A quick visit to the sds website shows closeups that are somewhat inconclusive imo (if I had to guess from the pics I'd say they aren't there): closeups of the Stunt, from the SDS website:

yep the CC machine cut me off at $50 at a gas station a few wks ago. Now it's about $70 to fillerup. sucks.

and... when Luke (or Han) walks down the ramp and taps on his ear to indicate a bad transmitter, he's still wearing a stunt. after that...poof like magic it changes to abs, bubble lenses, six teeth and a low brow!
