  1. Are you needing tee shirts with stormtroopers on them? There's a million out there... nothing official... but they are fun to wear! Not sure my link will work.. but just look up "stormtrooper T shirts".. https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=storm+trooper+t+shirt&tbm=shop
  2. Hi there namesake! You're cracking me up!!! You'll do just fine, and you're gonna look awesome in your TK. I agree with what everybody has already said, but I usually agree anyway. Have a fun build!!! Cheers, - another Jenny
  3. I just got a replacement AB/Cod piece from AP for me, so I'll be updating my armor, then see if I switch my chest plate with Greg's chest plate... if that helps his chest choking issues. I actually haven't compared the two chest pieces, yet.. but I'm hoping the AP chest is not as round as the RTMod. I'll post pics when I get that done. For Greg's rotj Vader build we have shin and shoulder armor, and ordered most everything except the helmet and cape... but are working on those. Fun stuff!
  4. You guys ROCK! Thanks for the update and pictures - MWG FTW!!!
  5. I just signed up and am also waiting on the Admin. Sometimes it might take a few days.... Hopefully they get back to you soon.
  6. Hello! Looks like you'll be with these guys/gals: http://www.501stner.com/ Northeast Remnant If you haven't already connected with them, you'll want to do that for armor parties or meet and greets. Your family probably won't like this advice, BUT I sanded and put together all my armor inside... right on the carpet. I vacuumed ALOT... after every sand / build session. That's probably not a great idea, but it worked for me. Don't be nervous - you can do it!!! Have lots of clamps and good magnets ready... or you can improvise. There's alot of that around here! Have fun and try not to cut yourself! Cheers! Jenny
  7. Looking forward to seeing your ROTJ!
  8. Hi! Long time since I posted in here. Greg's been on a few troops - and I still need to adjust stuff for him. We are probably going to try a Vader build - so I need to hang out in SLD and read.. ALOT!!
  9. Nice pics What will you use for the stretchy parts of the boot? [i was lucky and got my TK Boots in 2011 before they shut down for awhile.]
  10. Love your pics - good job on that little armor!!!
  11. I spent that much on mine... after all was said n done. I spent nearly that much on hubby's, too. I don't regret it, though. Good luck on your armor!
  12. I was gone way too long! I missed all my buddies!!!
  13. Looking good, Diana! You are doing awesome. Hope the new boots will fit better!
  14. I wear my canvas belt just a bit lower so it rests on the butt and kidney plate. To make the belt STAY I added velcro on the outside of my armor and velcro to the inside of my belt. I've had to re-do the velcro a few times, but it pretty much works for me. Like most things... trial and error. Once you get that fixed you'll have a fine looking butt plate.

  16. Did someone say ebay and shopping? I'm so there! http://www.ebay.com/itm/CAP-TK-Stormtrooper-Armor-/321320509758?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ad031e13e#ht_580wt_1362
  17. WAY TO GO Y'ALL!!!!! Ingrid and Eric have missed my grumpy cat pics! Actually, I cannot back that up. I don't think they have missed them.
  18. Hi Diana! The 7's fit just right. They are not too big. My usual shoe size is 8.5 - sometimes a 9. I might run more toward a wider shoe, but you know all shoes stretch out a little. I'm use to always having a heel and since these have no heel.. they still seem weird when I wear them. I think that's just me... always wanting more height! I wear normal no show socks and they do fine. I've got some running shoes that seem to pull my socks down after awhile, but these boots don't do that.. so that's good! It's kinda funny seeing how WHITE those boots are in that pic... they are all scuffed up now... which is how we like em! If you are an 8 1/2 you'll be good with TK size 7. Your foot might be a bit smaller than mine... but you know how thicker socks can fix that. Enjoy your build!!! Jenny
  19. Kevin ... DUUUUDE.... That is beyond exciting. Seriously, dude... this is gonna be insane awesome! You are really onto something - IMHO, of course... but I just KNOW this is going to take off like c r a z y. I'm so happy and excited for you. We'll be anxiously awaiting further details. Cheers! Jenny
