  1. OMG.. you did not just post that. HAAAAA... that's funny.
  2. teeee heeee heee.... I liked that one, too!
  3. Yay! That was funny. Was that a chick stormtrooper (I hope!) in the last sceen with Vader? Leia seemed to enjoy him/er-self!
  4. ------------ That was funny.
  5. I keep telling my hubby (soon to be a trooper) that he needs to find a number. He, of course, is cheeky too! He wants one similar to yours. And, a few years ago our teenager son had messed up his cell phone, and when his dad called the cell phone company they wanted the pin number. Well, we had company over playing cards and our teenager had to tell us in front of everyone that his pin # was "6969" and then he quickly told his dad "It's just a random number" Needless to say all of us adults giggled for hours on end (the beer might have been to blame, too) and the teenager didn't show his face again the rest of the night. So, now about once a week we still repeat the line: "It's JUST a random number!" We're awful parents... but we have fun. Stay cheeky my friend!
  6. I don't know. Sorry. Nobody's perfect. Can't we turn this into a "Hey - we're the FISD.. and we'll help whoever buys these less than perfect suits into a 501st approvable suit. We want to help, cause it's all about Troopers helping Troopers."
  7. His wife, Mandy just passed away and they both bought lots of these FX suits to work on, but now I believe he needs to pay for funeral expenses and I believe he does have permission from the person he bought all the FX suits from to sell them. You guys didn't know, so don't feel bad.. but I think we should cut him some slack. It's a tough time for him. Let me find the link... and I'll post it. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22671-in-memoriam-mandy-zehner-tk-51110/ I was looking through the Bloodfin Garrison, but I think if you guys/girls want more info, best talk to Mark Ryner ... CAPTSAFE66. He won't mind, and I think he'd prefer to set the record straight. It's all so sad. I think Mandy was 37 and I know the have children.
  8. YAAY! YOU GOT IT!!! CONGRATS, TOE-KNEE!!!
  9. I glued mine and my hubby's forearms and thighs. It use to take me 25 really looong and sweaty minutes to get mine on by myself. I've gotten better and now it's about 10 - 15 sweaty minutes. No matter what I'm sweating just suiting up. Maybe the really HOT summer was part of that last year. I pretty much follow what Derrek does on his checklist.
  10. Welcome to the FISD Stef! Good luck on your search. You are in the right place for all things concerning the 501st and Stormtroopers.
  11. We're rooting for you Gaspi! You're armour is so nice and shiny.. we can't stop staring!
  12. I put my foot on the measuring tape, and my foot is about 9.5 inches. I didn't realize my feet are big like Frodo Baggins!
  13. My workplace has made me tougher than I might look. I'm glad I've got friends to help me out here on fisd.
  14. Hi Glen, I re-did the size 7. Um, my paper is a bit thinner on the width than the inside of my boot, but the length is good. ----------- Hope we can get more boot sizes from Troopers.
  15. Thanks for all the helpful advice guys! I take no offense and am glad you are all trying to help me. We need it! I was rushing around yesterday trying to post pics and trying to get out of the house for running around. I need to teach the hubby that armor tweaking is THE most important thing, and it comes first!! haaa haaa.. Well, for crazy armor people like us, it does. Yes, he has droopy diaper butt plate and I will hoist up the whole belly/back sections UP and get him looking proper. I think we have to clean out the garage 1st, then I can shove him into the plastic and torture him with armor bites and more pictures. Yep, gotta make some straps for his arms, too! Getting tired of all the straps... I must have forgot about all the straps on my armor. At least I know it's totally worth it in the end.
  16. i can re-do the size 7... hubby was wanting to leave, and i was rushing around.
  17. Yes! I will work on those things, and I noticed I had his belt on crooked... it was not centered.... OOPS! I should have more pics tomorrow and hopefully can get my GML or whatever we call him to look over his armor for 501st approvel. Thanks for the advice, D!
  18. Size 13 bought 2012 -----------
  19. This big slacker (me) finally got some more work done. I'm now glueing the chest to the ab with nylon straps because the test fitting showed some puffed up chest action on Greg. And, we can't have that! I see from these pics, I'll still need to re-do the right shoulder bridge. It's not lining up in the back. I think the left thigh will need lowered, too. Also, I only have the hanging battery packs taped on. The left one looks like crap. Ok, what do you think of all the black showing? Please give feedback, if you see something. We will try for EIB, and maaaaybe Centurion way down the road. Knees... see the chest... I'm getting that fixes. He's being choked [like Wayne Brady and his women.] It's from Chappell show.. sorry droopy butt - sort of...
  20. Borrowed this from Pickle's fb...
  21. That's a quote that I use at least 3 times a week. It will never get old for me!
  22. Hi Chris, I've got AP armor, too. I read your post wrong at first and was posting pics of my bicep pieces, but then realized you have the opposite problem. I've got scrawny biceps. You don't need to see those pics. As far as I know, you can shim them. The cover strips will help you, too. I think the usual cover strip for the arm pieces are 15mm, but I think going up to a 20mm cover strip is ok, but get some morre opinions just to make sure. I believe if you can get the shims to line up flush to the original biceps pieces, you should be ok. And, then use slightly larger cover strips to help hide the shims.... Good luck! Keep us updated when you get the time.
  23. You know in the fine print it says "may cause cancer", don't breath in too much Between cat litter dust, hair spray, and e6000... I should have sprouted some horns by now.
  24. I can get a size 13 and an 8 (i think...) It might take a few days, cause I'm lazy. I'm the 13 and my hubby is the 8. Errr, was that the other way around? I get so confused... been smelling too much E6000 lately!
