  1. Very happy to hear you and the family made it to Tennessee in one piece. I hope to see you all at some cons and get some pics with you. Congrats to your hubby on his job. Hope you all get use to the weather, although you are from New York, right? You'll be back running around in the snow in just a hoodie in no time.
  2. Hi Keith! Yer looking smashing and so official in your uniform. I'm going a bit off topic - what officer boots did you order? I have a GOAL [back on topic! ] of getting my hubby an Imperial Officer, too. BTW, my garrison buddies sell the rank badges. [bADGES? WE DONT NEED NO STINKING BADGES.] http://www.imperialofficer.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1787-plexiglass-rank-tiles-andor-complete-rank-bars/page__fromsearch__1 My progress so far: 1. Got the treadmill and helped hubby assemble it by drinking a beer and holding stuff while he did all the work. [ A lite beer, btw] 2. "Borrowed" a surge protector from work for the treadmill. [That's an indefinate borrow.] 3. Submitted hubbies application to the academy (this year) to the 501st and my garrison for his TK. I picked numbers for him too. Yes, I will also sign him up for troops and dress him. Haaa haaa.... Lady Ingrid ~ you are doing a fine job and I know you will accompish all your goals! YOU ROCK!!! Keep up the good work everybody!
  3. I'm guessing ther Scout Trooper is a dude.
  4. Love BILLIE DEE! Thanks for sharing. You all looked awesome! Looks like it was fun.
  5. Always laugh at Vader's jokes. NOMATTERWHAT!
  6. Going to send these pics in for Greg's 501st approval. I still need to tweak some stuff but he did ok. The chest straps started popping off and then the chest was choking him. We took these in the ladies room of the Plainfield Library. see the chest is all bubbled....
  7. It makes a difference if you are changing in front of strangers as opposed to your pals in the 501st? Who are all these people you are changing in front of? Course, it's probably none of my business. Too funny!!!
  8. The girls have so much compression and spanx on.. we can barely breath! Well, at least that's how I suit up. Yah.. no lacey stuff.
  9. OMG.. you did not just post that. HAAAAA... that's funny.
  10. teeee heeee heee.... I liked that one, too!
  11. Yay! That was funny. Was that a chick stormtrooper (I hope!) in the last sceen with Vader? Leia seemed to enjoy him/er-self!
  12. I keep telling my hubby (soon to be a trooper) that he needs to find a number. He, of course, is cheeky too! He wants one similar to yours. And, a few years ago our teenager son had messed up his cell phone, and when his dad called the cell phone company they wanted the pin number. Well, we had company over playing cards and our teenager had to tell us in front of everyone that his pin # was "6969" and then he quickly told his dad "It's just a random number" Needless to say all of us adults giggled for hours on end (the beer might have been to blame, too) and the teenager didn't show his face again the rest of the night. So, now about once a week we still repeat the line: "It's JUST a random number!" We're awful parents... but we have fun. Stay cheeky my friend!
  13. I don't know. Sorry. Nobody's perfect. Can't we turn this into a "Hey - we're the FISD.. and we'll help whoever buys these less than perfect suits into a 501st approvable suit. We want to help, cause it's all about Troopers helping Troopers."
  14. His wife, Mandy just passed away and they both bought lots of these FX suits to work on, but now I believe he needs to pay for funeral expenses and I believe he does have permission from the person he bought all the FX suits from to sell them. You guys didn't know, so don't feel bad.. but I think we should cut him some slack. It's a tough time for him. Let me find the link... and I'll post it. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22671-in-memoriam-mandy-zehner-tk-51110/ I was looking through the Bloodfin Garrison, but I think if you guys/girls want more info, best talk to Mark Ryner ... CAPTSAFE66. He won't mind, and I think he'd prefer to set the record straight. It's all so sad. I think Mandy was 37 and I know the have children.
  15. I glued mine and my hubby's forearms and thighs. It use to take me 25 really looong and sweaty minutes to get mine on by myself. I've gotten better and now it's about 10 - 15 sweaty minutes. No matter what I'm sweating just suiting up. Maybe the really HOT summer was part of that last year. I pretty much follow what Derrek does on his checklist.
  16. Welcome to the FISD Stef! Good luck on your search. You are in the right place for all things concerning the 501st and Stormtroopers.
  17. We're rooting for you Gaspi! You're armour is so nice and shiny.. we can't stop staring!
  18. Those are great pics! Looks like it was fun. Keep up the good work, Trooper!
  19. I put my foot on the measuring tape, and my foot is about 9.5 inches. I didn't realize my feet are big like Frodo Baggins!
  20. My workplace has made me tougher than I might look. I'm glad I've got friends to help me out here on fisd.
