  3. Not an in depth build story on this one unlike my first, but a couple of show off pictures of my latest addition to my trooper collection. I was exceptionally fortunate with this deactivation after purchasing a partial build - the base sterling, original M19 scope and rail (though for this I use one of the rails and the M19 scope from my earlier project), and a shortened magazine. Essentially all I had to do was to add track. And together with my first build, enjoy
  4. I think you need to talk to Mark (sskunky)
  5. I picked up a Jawa blaster from AJ it really is sweet. I'd definitely recommend one of those if ever you expand your collection to other items.
  6. Now that is a great article, I like the one about mopping the death star floors too
  7. Unique Canes is a top guy I had some recent dealings with him. He made me a stunning Jawa Blaster, I'll have to post some pictures later.
  8. I simply love the fact that someone must have actually done some feasibility study to come out with the figures: "The estimated cost to US taxpayers of $850,000,000,000,000,000 would add to America's national debt problem rather than help reduce it." - International Business Times. Also interesting to see what a quadrillion looks like

  10. Yeah have a great festive season unlike Han Solo who was crying at the Christmas table when he found his meat was Chewie.
  11. Vern here is another slight variant Hengstler 400. An eagle type where all the plastic components are black, notice the different reset button, it has additional molding round it. ----------
  12. Blimey Andy haven't read this thread for a wee while, you certainly know how to go about knocking a blokes socks off! Absolutely amazing work
  13. That's really nice
  14. Not in that way you need to lower the front end
  15. Actually same principle when applying T-Track
  16. I wouldn't have the front tab bend a second time at 90 degrees if it at an angle it creates a spring, as you can see on this shot:------- This next shot shows the kind of thing I mean but is applied on a different scope rail. When done like this it holds in place much better. -------- Hope this helps
  17. I think from what I read the problem in the past was they couldn't prevent roll, but this has addressed that and the movement is a kin to riding a bike. Apparently it will go up to speeds of 50mph and fly at 15ft. Just make sure you're never under one on landing
  18. The LA Times this was reported in the Times (UK) today. How cool
  19. And I totally agree with Sergui, Idealised would be perfectly symmetrical in every aspect nice and sharp edged, the ones they had just have more character. Originally I was the other way inclined but I think the inaccuracy and oddity of the older stuff simply grows on you.
  20. I think he means the vent holes in the barrel itself?
  21. Humbrol #14 French Blue
  22. I think it looks like the real deal, but only asking the buyer will reveal it in truth. Its little things round the hengstler there appears to be brass showing on the holder the end of the mag with the missing spring piece and screw on handle on the sterling make me think its pretty genuine.
  23. Talking of eBay finds not sure who is parting with this but looks like a good one to be had: ------------
