  1. I just assumed no one would notice
  2. I upgraded tapatalk again on the server to the newest version. Please PM or email me if you experience problems. Aloha, -Eric
  3. My costume goals for the end of 2013: Recruit members closer to me than a plane or boat ride MEPD SWAT with an alley check captain TD Have ESB Vader 50% acquired My FISD goals are too numerous to mention.... wait... maybe that's my problem?!
  4. This being the most recent photo of his kit I'm not sure the biceps can really come down much more: -Eric
  5. It's true the TD clips do need to move but it isn't mentioned in the CRL. Mathias: Are you going to make him move them before approving? I also don't know if this matters for approval.... but as we discussed off the forum the forearms do need to come up. With that said.... there isn't much that can be done given his ape-like arms and the short short AP forearms. Maybe splitting the difference will help a little but I doubt it will do much. As long as he carries his blaster I doubt the gap will be all that noticeable. I suggest overlooking this detail for approcal given dutchie's size. Glen's right. Crotch split rivets shouldn't be painted. Check out this image from the lucasfilm archives: And a screen shot Mathias took: -Eric
  6. FYI: The proposed changes to the centurion requirements were voted on and passes here on the forum. They have not been added to the official CRL. The timeframe for those changes to be implemented, if at all, has not been finalized. Please refer only to the CRLs as listed of the 501st.com web page for the most recent version: www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:FISD_CRL Aloha, -Eric

  8. A couple dots of e-6000 will help pesky neck trim that won't stay or is trimmed too short to remain in place with friction. I wouldn't use CA since e6k is removable... And ya never know ya know. -Eric
  9. Nice RT I love using my favorite detachment catchphrase "RT-MOD, taking over FISD one giant sized trooper at a time." A few suggestions that will not stop you from getting your EIB... many others have mentioned already. Please take them with an accuracy grain of salt. As others said... biceps lower. The RT drop box issue is a real pain in the butt. Rob rightly made the belt longer to look more proportional on a larger trooper. If you line your drop boxes up with the edge of the belt it causes your drop boxes to be further out than they should be. However I think this is the best option when using an RT belt. If you look at my EIB app you'll see what I mean. The other way to do it is to align them over the tops of the thighs as I think you have which doesn't quite look right. I ended up getting an ATA belt for my RT but it is a way different color than RT's plastic. There are rumors of RT moving away from the integrated rivet covers which will make life much easier. Your knee ammo pack is too high and every time I see that on an RT trooper I blame myself. It is possible to put the rivet in the lower ridge of the thigh. You have to really wrastle it into place and be at peace with your knee pack pointed up more than you want it to be. Here are two photos of my knee pack taken recently: Don't forget to paint your ear rank. At some point I suggest painting your vocoder and ditching the sticker. Phil caught a good one with your belt 45 degree cuts. They should be a big more pronounced. Your back/kidney straps could be shorter to reduce the gap. That will also bring you kidney/butt and therefore your ab up a little higher. They look a tad low but that's just how RT tends to sit. I have the same problem. Sometimes it looks like the chest needs to come down on all RT's but its actually the rest of the torso should come up to meet the chest/back. Your holster tabs are grey? They should be brown leather and I think Derrek or Phil already might have mentioned that the rivets are a little high. There's also something weird going on with your butt plate where its digging into your holster. If that keeps happening I would add another snap plate and elastic to the very end of your butt plate on both sides. Aloha and good luck but I doubt you'll need it for EIB. -Eric
  10. 7 EIB more! That's one a day until the new year -Eric
  11. It dawned on me this morning that I forgot to force those using the old 2011 themes to use the default 2012. If you logged in and your 2011 theme is gone... it's my fault Aloha, -Eric
  12. FYI: We only keep track of the first EIB award. The count is number of people with an EIB not the number of approved EIB costumes. A member may have as many EIBs as there are CRLs that have a second level -Eric
  13. Damnit! Although a Link-trooper is a fine idea for a costume. -Eric
  14. You put your citizenship in doubt with a statement like that. Congrats trooper. -Eric
  15. I'm not sure Glen has satisfied the post count criteria for an EIB application. You don't need it, but good luck trooper. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Oh. Finally! Congrats on your TKID trooper. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Danter's thread: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/14126-fs-hero-upgrade-kit-18/ -Eric
  18. Yes. That's the main issue. -Eric
  19. I just tested it and I received reset emails using both my email or my login name. There is an ongoing issue with some older members receiving the reset email who originally registered using the now deprecated "imperial hub" system. Please have those users email or PM me and I'll fix their accounts ASAP. -Eric

  21. Hey Vern... if you can get some photoshop type text labeling going on and better photos this could be an excellent tutorial. -Eric
