  1. Oops I got trigger happy and didn't notice you already nailed this. -Eric
  2. You dumb bastard! It's not a schooner it's a sailboat. Snoogens.
  3. Not even sure that's the issue. Maybe I'll try to search when I know it's running before we change its periodicity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I feel (emotionally) that this occurred the last time the thing was enabled... My theory is that during the time when the cron thing is running stuff happens and results get messed up... then it goes back to normal. -Eric
  5. Holy mother of pearl! Now THAT'S a TK build. I may be contacting you to use some of your photos for EIB/Centurion reference photos. Congrats on approval and all your other awards to come. -Eric
  6. What Clamps said. Moving the snap plate inside the top of the bell to pre-rotate it is such simple genius. Someday when I find some better shoulder elastic that doesn't pull out from under my bridges that's my plan. -Eric
  7. Jenny... keep an eye on where the holster lands on your husband. Since RT's belt is longer than most you may need to modify the distance between the plastic belt and the first holster tab to get it to sit in the right spot on his body. -Eric
  8. The forum search sucks bantha balls. It seems that three letter searches don't really work. I will convene with the Swede on this matter. -Eric
  9. Me thinks you're about the average age of most folks in the legion. If the membership database wasn't so messed up I could tell you what that age is. Heck I plan on taking my butt plate off so I can sit in the wheelchair and roll into a troop in my advanced age. And seriously... we're all about 12 years old on in the inside. -Eric
  10. Gonzalo: You're looking good. Nice job on your armor. I wouldn't mind seeing a closeup of your boots if possible. Glen: I suggest slowing your critique roll a bit these days. There are a ton of very experienced TKs on here that don't have as much to say, much less so quickly. Please also try to stick to the CRL at hand when pouring over someone's armor... Or if you must critique it all maybe split your comments up into EIB and centurion sections. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Like me sending you mine. Email me your address. -Eric
  12. Or use it for a death trooper with claw marks, holes and lots of blood Or someone can finally actually make a stay puft marshmallow trooper man. Anyone have a sailor hat this guy can borrow? If the entire staff of FISD and most of the members had our way, the FX and AM helmet would be banned from the basic requirements already. -Eric
  13. I hate you and your steady hand painting skills -Eric
  14. This is now a FISD tutorial. Nicely done! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/37-howto-create-a-bicep-strap-hook/ -Eric
  15. Please let me translate what might be some manner of french canadian translated back into broken english: "I am out of costume ideas. -Clamps" -Eric
  16. Centurion Application Guidelines Creating Application Post Request Expert Infantry Status before applying Create new post in the Request Centurion Status forum Format the topic title as follows: TK0123 requesting COSTUME_NAME Centurion status [ARMOR TYPE] List the mandatory costume information below Put photos directly into the post (use third party image host ie; Imgur) Photo Guidelines Size: Photo size larger than 800x600 (preferably 1280 x 960) to allow the DO to see your armor's details. 1024x768 Lighting: Try to take your pictures with good light. Direct sunlight is not good, as it gives hard edges. Using flash is also bad, as it creates too much contrast, colors turn out weird and will concentrate light on one point. You can put yourself next to a window during the day to get a nice indirect lateral light, without the need to use flash or additional light sources. Photo Background: Try to use a neutral color such as medium grey or tan. Too dark or too light backgrounds are problematic. The white armor parts or the dark underarmor parts tend to blend with those backgrounds. Try to use a solid color or simple background. Do not use white or red backgrounds. Framing: Ensure the full body photos contain both your boots and the top of the helmet. Try to reduce the amount of space between your body and the edge of the photo. Ask the photographer to zoom or step close enough to allow you to fill up the photo with as much of you as possible. Inserting Photos - Post your photos directly into submission post. If you are unsure how to do this, read this tutorial or ask on the forum. Do not put link to the photos in your request. * Note: if a particular detail noted in the CRL is not clearly visible, the applicant may be asked to provide additional photos. 18. This dirty sandie took the guts of an mp3 enabled bullhorn and used it for his t-21 BFG: -Eric
  19. Phil's right about the variation in the number of teeth and Centurion approvals allows for a certain amount of interpretation and subjectivity. However, the number of teeth for a stunt helmet specific enough in the CRL to stand on its own. Personally I think that the teeth repair on dutchie's helmet probably looks better in person rather than the detailed photo of the frown. -Eric
  20. Good catch. Fixed Mark's name and TKID. Thanks you guys! -Eric
  21. A couple new features have been added to the FISD website. Recent gallery images added to the main home page An "About FISD" menu tab added. It includes two other pages listing the current FISD staff and their roles as well as a FISD FAQ page (written by Roguetrooper) A page for articles and related "News" menu tab with an archive of all of our newsletters A few minor font and background color changes Menu tabs reordering Let me know if you experience any problems due to these changes. Aloha, -Eric
  22. Without shots of the back I can't really tell but it looks like your ab/cod maybe needs to come up a bit. It is super common with RT even with troopers like you with long torsos. Tough to tell without seeing how your back bits line up. -Eric
  23. Vern: Can you take a screen cap of what font color you're talking about? I may have F'd something up. Also... There's a new news menu item for past newsletters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. How tall are you brotherman? And what's your inseam? -Eric
