  1. Target sells (cheaper than under armor) compression suit type clothing made by Champion. Leisure Pro has all black lycra scuba jumpsuits on sale for $32 but you may need to cover up the logo on the chest. -Eric
  2. Actually.... that's totally true! -Eric
  3. I was being sarcastic. There is no such thing as "too accurate" bro. It's a good policy to take very little of what I say seriously. -Eric
  4. The screwheads in the return edge of your chest plate are just a little too accurate. Might want to tone that done a little ok? Looking good! -Eric
  5. This seems like an AP epidemic An outpost mate had the same thing happen. Others have posted about this too of late. I thought maybe epoxying some light fiberglass cloth.... or even actual cloth... on the underside of the should bridge would help keep it solid. But then again I thought of it because I have access to lots of epoxy and glass. -Eric
  6. I once had a working theory that it always failed during the same part of the hour... but I don't think that's true. It was having to do with the timing of indexing etc. -Eric
  7. You can say that twice and mean it! Good stuff.... enjoy the build... take lots of pics. -Eric
  8. Ooooh now I follow. Yeah search engine woes. Sometimes it works... sometimes it doesn't. -Eric
  9. So said everyone who has ever built a TK Don't rush. When it is "over" you'll wish you had more plastic to trim and glue. -Eric
  10. The drop box outside edge should line up with the end of the belt (hopefully that makes sense) It's tough to make any more recommendations until you get your strapping done. -Eric
  11. Screen shots help if possible. -Eric
  12. Francisco: You're a mad genius. -Eric
  13. Cruising right along I loves me some TM build threads. -Eric
  14. I have a pink hello kitty towel I wrap mine in before it goes into my armor bin. -Eric
  15. There's always a black sharpie or flat black model paint for your TD screw heads -Eric
  16. Sweet kicks. -Eric
  17. The one all the way on the right on this page looks bendy too. -Eric
  18. Ouch. CA glue. Bummer. I guess you could score the less visible cover strip down the center and split it. Then you could glue in a wider inside strip inside the forearm. Depending on how mich much extra ABS you have carefully create a cosmetic shim between the halves of the split outside cover strip. Maybe some high grit sanded ABS paste would hide the two seams? We highly suggest you use E-6000 from now on just in case it doesn't come out the way you thought it would. -Eric
  19. You lost me dude. Got a screen cap? -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Zipping right along nicely! This thread makes me want to build something again -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I highly suggest getting rid of the vocoder decal and hand painting it yourself. Other than that the RT bucket is pretty good to go. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. David, Do a google or amazon search for tactical helmet padding or MICH pads. Or you could go to a sporting goods store and either buy pads for a baseball helmet.... but some folks buy a cheap kids baseball helmet and rip out the pads. -Eric
  23. Here's a nice clean strapping example from Simpixels: The split butt and kidney can be seen in many screen captures: Hope this helps. -Eric
  24. NE apparently means "No Excuses" I'm not quite clear on why. Take lots of photos along the way. We're build photo junkies! -Eric
