  1. Here's my ROMFX bag which is based on a nylon binocular-bag I had laying around. One strap goes around my neck (the bag basically hangs on my neck), while another strap secures the bag around my chest. Works really nice, and I don't have to worry about moisture inside the helmet spoiling the fun. -----------
  2. Hi! I have a system based on a small bag I have strapped around my upper chest, that goes over the under armor and thus hidden by the chest plate. I have the ROMFX/batteries etc. in that bag, and a cable goes through my neck seal which I have the microphone connected to. I'll try to take a picture of my system tonight..
  3. Amazing event photos!!!! I wish we had as many events like you guys have in Italy
  4. I am almost certain it's an RT-Mod as the kit comes with the dome-piece separated from the front and back piece of the helmet.
  5. I'd say GF as well..beside the dome, I also think the face plate looks hero-ish. Except it got the fourth teeth cut out..
  6. Wow! I loved "The Making of Star Wars"..can't WAIT for this one!!!!!!
  7. The helmet to the right (front view) looks suspiciously FX-ish.
  8. I liked the scene with the Jar Jar tattoo'ed guy. He was hilarious...I saw the movie myself yesterday as well.
  9. A-Team would not be the same without the original television show opening theme! I hope they'll use it.
  10. I love how the back piece cracks loose @ 9:12
  11. ..it depends on your definition of "blaster".
  12. Have you tried "Alt+Print Screen" method, then go into Paint and press "paste"? I'm not sure if it'll always work, but you try.
  13. Hi Brian! I replied with a normal e-mail..as I saw you had your mail address in that PM you sent.
  14. A small update on this thread. Here's a couple of pictures from the Oscars '77 featuring a couple of grainy (but RARE!) shots of the original screen used ANH Vader and Stormtrooper (Hero and one stunt) and the princess outfit. Anyone know where to get a copy of the Oscar show of 77? I'd love to see it! The award for Best Costume Design goes to...John Mollo!
  15. Love that picture with the eye Nazgûl!! IMO it makes the character even more scary!
  16. The reason one sees Vader and Tie-trooper's eye is because of the lightning conditions. In the cockpit-set of a tie fighter they used colored (red) filters on the studio lights, thus, the lenses became 'clear'. I am sure the same effect would have been visible if the stormtroopers were shot with green lightning.
  17. I have one like this too...but because of lack of information I had at the time when I built it, I chose to fill up the gaps between the ears and tube-area with putty, and then I repainted the whole thing... I might deassemble the whole thing and sand it down and do it all right one day. Btw, I've compared my GF with other helmets, and the GF looks so huge compared to for instance TE-derived stunt helmets. How come? Is it because GF sculpted the hero features over an excisting stunt?
  18. I had the game also! Actually, the game was pretty nice, and quite a new approach to the action shooter genre with the INSANE (INteractive Streaming ANimation Engine) developed by Lucasarts. And I simply loved the live action cut scenes! I guess it was the first time since ROTJ that one got to see an accurate suit in a video..
  19. "Here's the key to the archive! Make yourself at home...just make sure you don't destroy anything."
  20. Look at the chest armor seen from this perspective, it looks way more SA than the FX, which is more "flat". Also, look at the thighs, which has the interesting curvatures on the tip similar to the TE-derived armor types. This is sure a "mystery armor" if you ask me! Some armor parts do look like those from the new upgraded FX kit though.
  21. Hi there and welcome to this forum! I think it's great that you wanna go out for an adventure like this . I recommend that you get in contact with your local garrison and look at their armor to get a glimpse of the sizes and shapes of the different pieces. When it comes to shapes and sizes, there is a clear difference between screen-accurate (TE-derived) armor, and the FX armor. The FX armor kit is in general larger than the screen-accurate armor, it is made this way so it can be trimmed and assembled to fit a range of body types. The screen accurate armor on the other side, was sculpted on a mannequin (from an average body). I don't know if they sculpted the FX on top of a mannequin, but I think sculpting the armor on a mannequin would definately be a great advantage. This way, it is much easier to get the proportions right. But of course, having a big sculpt also has its own problems in terms of storage and logistic (My mom is a sculptor so I've experienced that before ) Have you thought about what kind of clay you want to use?
  22. Lol, check the folding stock on the blaster to the right, it's in a half defolded position.
  23. Albin does wear the TK armor over his prosthetic leg, video clips from "The Heart Of an Empire" DVD confirm that.
