  1. Crap. ----------
  2. If you use a male half of a snap as the washer you get the accurate pop rivet look from the outside with the benefit of being able to remove the holster. Not that you will likely need to do that many times, but still.
  3. Another pro-tip is to not glue all the way out to the edge of the handguard. Leave a couple of mm of space all around.
  4. You want this one with the activator pen. ---------
  5. Try to keep the distance between biceps and forearm less than between biceps and shoulder bell. What you're doing now is the reverse. At least in the first few images, it gets better in the last ones.
  6. I can understand where you are coming from Mathias. In one of my first troops I was put off that one of my garrison-mates was sporting a clean sandtrooper. I was grimacing inside my helmet as he stood next to my TD in photos. Then I discovered the Heavy Weapons Trooper and understood that he was pulling that off rather well. Now I love trooping with him as he looks great. As for nothing being sacred, Lucasfilm signed off on the HWT, so that will have to do. I'm proud of our HWTs. Carry on with your cleaner pack boys Except that what LFL approved for the game was a weathered character. Not a clean one. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  7. So it seems. You are right, and I'm caught showing I haven't read that CRL close enough. Still makes me wonder if anything is sacred anymore. The reason for asking that is because the MEPD was long ago created to rid the legion of plain stormtroopers tossing on a pauldron and claiming to be sandtroopers. Seeing FISD yank the rug from under their feet like this shames me to be part of it. Anyways, Mike, best of luck with your build. All the information you need is here to be found. And apologies for the sombre mood.
  8. You know the HWT is required to be weathered right?
  9. What's the rush anyway? E-6000 All the way. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. Don't forget to update the 501st-only version of this post. While you're at it.
  11. Checking out Billy's photobucket should be a start; -----------
  12. Try contacting someone from legion command, or post about it on the 501st forums. That's the easiest way to find out.

  14. We usually have that yes. But this is such a small change you should be able to adjust. But we won't be draconian about it. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. Snaps works to attach the elastic. The original thighs had the elastic glued directly to the plastic however.
  16. Don't use velcro. But you have the right idea. A wide piece of elastic attached to the thighs, which loops around a waist belt worn under the armour works very well and is also how the originals were worn.
  17. It has been taken care of, and a new requirement has been added. Don't worry, it makes sense. It's the addition of the squared cut outs seen on each bottom corner;
  18. Looks like the LMO got it wrong when he re-formated the entries. I'll send him a PM.
  19. Getting a battle spec helmet would be a waste of cash. Also keep in mind that SDS can't sell to the US because unpaid damages from said lawsuit when he was sued by LFL.
  20. SDS bad, AP good. TM, RS, CAP-W, AP, ATA, RT-Mod are all good helmets.
  21. The lady with the DLT on the far right is emii, a nerdy pop singer. Not likely to ever be 501st. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  22. No its not good. It looks weird, is not assembled properly and is over priced. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  23. I moved it.
