The 700 EIB's is not on my personal goal list. It's on Daetrins, which somehow reflect on to me. I have always been a quality over quantity kind of guy. Let me make it perfectly clear that I'm not trying to actively ruin the fun for anyone. But I had discussions with the LMO, who asked if there was anything I would like added to the EIB section oft the kidney (which was completely empty). I thought for a while, and replied that the mentioning of notched corners would be nice to add. The LMO agreed and added it. Then I stopped to worry about it, and then we are here. I am however, trying to think big-picture. How can I improve not only FISD and the legion, but Stormtroopers in general through changes that over time seeps into the larger crowd? Without EIB there would be no AM-armour for example. It's a direct consequence of it. And not everyone that buys their, or anyone else's armour end up in the Legion. And maybe, over time, even the crappy recasts on ebay will have improved.

I have asked RS to measure it for me tomorrow. It's only one suit, but it's as good source as we can get at the moment. No votes, it's already in the CRL. But I don't expect a stringent check on each application but rather something we ease into. In fact, the goal is to have it implemented at mould-level in as many kits as possible. I won't deny that, as it's obviously the best way to go about it. It' has worked in the past, as AM would not be in existence if not for evolving EIB requirments.

Also, to those that say it's a detail that doesn't show, there are several requirements in EIB and even in basic that are required but doesn't show. Consider that. And lastly, it does show. On some troopers. It depends on your body and if you wear your belt at the proper height or not. Here are some examples of it showing. Of course there are other scenes were it doesn't show. These examples are just to show that it was visible.

Nice work Mike. But which measurements did you go by? Those currently in the CRL are not accurate, as mentioned in a post of mine earlier. To those larger troopers of you with shims, you have the easiest of all, as you just use a slightly shorter shim than you normally would, thus creating the same effect.

It should also be noted that when I spoke to the GML about the measurements I did not have accurate armour on hand so the measurements are subject to change. What is certain however is that if anything, they will be larger that specified at the moment. So anyone who has cut already need only to cut some more. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

I troop right handed. The sterling was made for right hand use, so it makes sense to me.

No, but those that did make better were charging much more than what is common today. So very few could justify spending it. Availability was also an issue. Good stuff was harder to find.

Sounds like latency issues. From what I've heard, Aussie internet isn't all that great, and it could happen something times out while you are waiting for the reply.

Testing editing. Test 1 - Firefox on llnux. No issues. Test 2 - Chrome on linux. No issues. Editing is not turned off for user's posts, btw.

Indeed too early to call. I see far too much speculation running around images found all over the web from unreliable sources. They have little to no merit at all to them. Secondly, consider the possibility that some "leaks" might be intentional to throw the public off the trail. Disinformation as it's called. It's very common and has even been done in star Wars before. Remember "Revenge of the Jedi"? In other words, as fun as it might be, keep calm.

Pro tip: When the armour on one picture is not the same as the other picture, it's a scam. Also, don't buy expensive stuff on ebay unless you know what you are doing. Our many warnings that are pinned all around the forum against ebay are there for a reason.

I was sculpted by a guy called GF. Later on it was recast and sold by the guys who make AM. And these days, only crappy copies are made by random people on ebay. So don't go looking for one, it's not worth even the effort considering how much better all other armour is.

Nate D Sanders TK "prototype 1976" lid for auction
Locitus replied to zebrabuse's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
To sum it up, it's more like something Andrew made after the first movie while messing around in the workshop. Fast forward 30 years and he realizes those could be worth something, so he calls them prototypes and people go nuts, making him rich. -
ATA is to a larger extent modified to look more like ANH, where as AP has more of its ROTJ origins left.

Take a look in your gallery for the accurate hook and elastic method; http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/category/7-general-stormtrooper-reference/

Yeah, it's the same story every two years or so when someone tries to sell one of them. -

Nothing prototype about it. You can read some more from Lindsay, the wife of Brian Muir, the sculptor of the armour here: ---------
