I haven't talked publicly about this match, but spoke to TM a long time ago and he was considering the same helmet as you are suggesting, as the RS helmet. It's worth noting that the same helmet is also missing the neck rubber trim, just like the RS helmet is missing it. I've also forwarded those thoughts to Simon of RS about a year ago. I consider it a likely candidate, but so far, it's still too hard to make a 100% positive match, but it is the best candidate to my knowledge.

If the shins were any higher the knee plate would be inside the thigh. See first picture for reference. I think it looks great as is.

All measurements should be considered approximate. Look at reference pictures (not other peoples builds!) and try to do achieve the same look. The problem we (the staff) always run into is that when we don't provide measurements, people either ask for them, or go crazy and way out of proportion. But if we do provide measurements, people take them way too seriously, as if it was the absolute truth and anything that is off by even a fraction needs to be crucified and burned.

Looking at the image in full size, the "scratches" on the scope has the same colour as the scratches on the receiver of the gun, which I'm confident is glue residue from the hengstler, that was glued on but has fallen off. So the scope could very well be resin.

Preferably not, as I'm quite spent at the moment. I'll come up with something appropriately offensive for next month.

What I mean is that it's pointless to require parts of armour that might otherwise be completely missing in "some horrible accident". It is a zombie after all. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
