  1. Critical thinking and doing your own research has hurt quite a few people though the ages, but it's still a good idea.
  2. No they don't need to be. The very same helmet I posted the picture from has one on the 1st and one on the 2nd painted. There is no requirement on where the bump should be painted. http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt
  3. No, he doesn't need to change that. I don't mean to sound threatening, but if you are going to point anything out, especially as specific as this, you need to make absolutely sure that you are on the right. Way too many errors happen because people keep repeating other peoples mistakes based on hearsay. He also doesn't need to lower his thighs. They are supposed to sit high. You would not want to look like the guy in the middle,middle row, but more like the 2nd from the right on the front row. The real "problem" with the thighs is that they are not tight enough, so the curve that is at the top back of the thigh is not a smooth curve but kind of flats out at the cover strip before it starts going downwards again. Slimmer thighs will get rid of that and at the same time remove the material that covers part of the butt plate.
  4. Don't worry. You're almost finished now.

  6. When looking at you results with this suit, I hope you've learned why we are so much against ebay now.
  7. Nice save on the ab plate. Hard to tell it's not original.
  8. So I assume you didn't know the ab plate is not supposed to sit inside the square, but have some material around it to sit on top of the square? Like this;
  9. Yes, you can use 20 mm wide clips.
  10. I suggest you talk to Kai about that, because I don't know. Congratulations on passing the exam.
  11. With a bit of luck, the future ROTJ E-11's from Kai will be a little more accurate, as it turns out that we have an MGC C1 Sterling in the Nordic Garrison that they Kai can use to make accurate moulds from. I'm not really involved in this, I just put the two people together and hope they make it work from there.
  12. If you consider the shipping costs of individual parts, since they have to be sent in pretty large boxes to fit, you will end up spending a ridiculous amount on shipping alone compared to buying the kit at once.
  13. Looking good! Might want to put some white paint on those thigh belt rivets and some black on the TD screw heads, but that's just nit-picking. Love the weathering!
  14. Isopropanol alcohol should dissolve the velcro glue, you can find a large bottle at Kjell&co, or try chemically pure bensin, which you can find among the cleaning products in your grocery store.
  15. No it shouldn't affect EIB. I don't have any on my main blaster. So sue me.

  17. Welcome to the world of international trade.
  18. Sometimes even lost packages get delivered, although after a delay. Packages can fall off carts in handling and end up on the floor in some corner. But eventually someone finds it and sends it on it's way.
  19. I'm sure you will get you D-ring soon enough. FYI, it takes three weeks for me here in Europe to get something from Karin, and it's no big deal. In my case it's because the post goes by truck all the way, instead of airmail. Karin is definitely one of the most reliable sellers on this forum, and if she says she's mailed you your D-ring, she has mailed it. It's not in her power to make USPS work harder.
  20. 501st forums is the only place to get them. Try downloading the files again.
  21. Moved to ANH builds.
