  1. Progress is a slow process. Whining like this will only make people stop trying. It is the reason why we can't have nice things.

  4. While I try to keep the reference gallery as good as I can, google can actually help you with that piece; https://www.google.com/search?q=l2a3+magazine+follower&biw=1600&bih=722&tbm=isch&source=lnms&sa=X&ei=fhBiVMf7CcK8OrX1gcgO&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ
  5. Hand-Schaub did of those not all that long ago. I received mine just under 2 years ago.
  6. It does suck. But I see it as a rite of passage. Btw, you can use a machine on them too. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  7. No there is no requirement to use elastic. It's just impractical not to. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  8. DIY all you want. I'll stick with ready made. But I'll strongly advice against nylon webbing for calf enclosure using these hooks. The elastic they used was there for a reason making the original suits, IE you need the material to flex when you pull the hooks out of the holes. Also, your "finished" strap has no pull tab, so you will have a lot of trouble grabbing it to get it out with your leg stuck inside. Sorry to sound so pessimistic. You've done a nice job of bending the wire. It looks really neat. But you are re-inventing the wheel.
  9. This size; http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26477-what-we-know-about-strapping-snaps-rivets-etc/
  10. 11 on the left, 12 on the right.
  11. Plumbing pipe is what they used too.
  12. Your helmet does look better than most eFX or MRCE in use in the legion. But think of it this way, it's crap out of the box, we all know that. And making the mods is both hard and not so well documented as it should be. If we do (which hasn't happened yet) grandfather the eFX, newbies will not have to go through that frustrating modding step and initial disappointment of realizing that what they just bought is no good. They can get a great helmet from the start instead.
  13. Yeah. If you can tilt the top of the knee little backwards, that would be ideal. But I still think it works just fine. I've seen way worse knee plates where people gave them lots of praise.
  14. I think the sniper plate sits good. It lines up with the ridges. The rest is just superficial. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. The original tubes aren't painted either. They were made grey. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  17. Not really our problem. Try asking the site owner. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. Should be about the same size I'm guessing.
  19. Yeah, those are the AM guys on facebook. Also known as sitharmor and tkboots, all made by the same guys.
  20. Albin Johnson's upgraded, two years ago. You know, just FYI.
  21. If you get another Iphone you can probably do that yourself with icloud. But apps will have to be re-bought and/or reinstalled if changing from ios to android. Also, not all apps are available for either phone. I'm an android user, so I'm not advocating ios for the sake of ios, but changing ecosystem is unfortunately still quite cumbersome.
  22. They look far too low. No, there is no requirement per se as to where they should sit. But there is the question of looking good too. Yours don't. Instead of just doing things on a whim, or follow others examples, spend some time looking at original helmets in our gallery to make sure you're just not repeating other peoples mistakes.
