  1. Sorry, I had him confused with another guy. Few people here call him by "trooper gear". Most just call it AM. It is available in black ABS from time to time. TE2 is not made very often these days. Closest match would be ATA, also an american maker. Long wait list though. Much more accurate than AM however, and also a tiny bit cheaper.
  2. I just noticed that you don't have a D-ring on your blaster. It's an EIB requirement, so make sure that you get one and post up a picture of that.
  3. Donny just posted a picture on facebook showing off the finished helmet. So I thought I'd share it.
  4. Looking real good there. Easy pass. I just have one question. Have you modded the DLT-19 to include the box over the ammo feed and added the half-globe above the handle? If not you should do that. But I'll approve you for the E-11 either way. Nice work trooper.
  5. None that are a perfect fit that I know of. But you can always make your own.
  6. Good point Jose. Yes, I need a picture of the butt and crotch to verify that the proper snaps and rivets are installed.
  7. Very nice build! The only thing I can think of is to raise your drop boxes a little so that they touch the belt. Approved! Good work trooper, and great pictures.
  8. Indeed an excellent submission. And an easy approval. Good work trooper.
  9. Any amour from our list painted black eould be better than buying from troopergear.
  10. Getting a loose folding stock could be a little tricky. They do come up on sale here sometimes, but not often. Otherwise I'd recommend visiting some of the UK military fairs. They might have parts for sale. Or if you can get one from the american company Apex Gun Parts.
  11. I spend a lot of time at the keyboard.
  12. And some of them do.
  13. It wasn't the focus of the debate in the lawsuit, so I don't think enough time was spent on that. But so called expert witnesses are not always as much experts in their area, as they are experts at being witnesses (IE they get paid to do it). As far as I'm concerned, the lawsuit you've debated over and over is not very relevant. The point is that we here on this forum, most of us anyway, know how the different armours look like, and we know that SDS is not what they claim it to be. And that makes them liars.
  14. Everyone on the list are great guys. Some more accurate than others, but all are great in their own way.
  15. Yeah, SDS in a nutshell.
  16. Because there were none available to be cast. If it had been it would of course had been casted. Like with RS from last year which was the first true ANH armour to be casted.
  17. It's called ANH because the moulds were reworked to look more like ANH.
  18. Yeah, a new design would be nice. Also, the older certificates have the wrong names on them.
  19. No, those are not just the only clues. And no, his armour is not derived of any original "skins".
  20. Several. The chest plate didn't have the right curve (although I think AA fixed that after it was brought up in the lawsuit) and several other things like the fact that his armour is made for overlap assembly (again like the TE ROTJ linage) and not with cover strips. AA does assemble the fronts with cover strips, but not the back sides.
  21. Sure. As long as they are willing to sign up here.
  22. You need a higher post count.
