  1. So you're going to cast them as a flat circle and cut out the middle for the neck opening? I'm just guessing here.
  2. We need new graphics for them, but have no one to do it. So if you're a graphic designer, let us know.
  3. Well, by the time inner drop boxes becomes a requirement for you (IE you're applying for centurion) then I hope you have read enough on the forum to know it's supposed to be a vac formed inner shell.
  4. Now don't be silly. They'd be much heavier and more expensive than they need to be.
  5. Not in one and the same picture. But just take a look at any non TM or non RS armour and you'll see similarities, because all other fan made armour is derived from TE, including SDS.
  6. No it's not separate, it's just the shadows fooling you. I recommend spending some time in the galleries I linked. You might find the image you're looking for there.
  7. And that is why your products are top notch!
  8. Love posts like this! Also, good thing you have Rob helping you. He knows his blasters!
  9. Lazy or cheap are terms that confuses me when it comes to Centurion...
  10. You don't have to use humbrols. Get testors if that's cheaper. It dries faster too.
  11. You can also quite clearly see in the ANH ab plate that there's an indentation running upwards underneath the 4-button plate (also seen previous picture), which is missing in SDS's armour, just like it is in the ROTJ ab plate
  12. Yes, the TE ROTJ suits. Which is quite obvious when you look at it. We have the pictures taken before the American court case comparing the ANH and ROTJ suits vs SDS in our gallery. You should check them out. http://www.whitearmor.net/fisd/Tikipedia:LFL_Caleb:ReferenceGallery http://www.whitearmor.net/fisd/Tikipedia:LFL_JoeR:ReferenceGallery ROTJ vs SDS Notice the vertical line running up from the cod, which is centered in both armours Image links broken and un recoverable Compared to an original ANH where the same line is off center
  13. They are approvable, and will continue to be so for the forseeable future. But I would recommend trying to paint. I painted my first helmet myself (had only done it partially before) recently and it wasn't as hard as I feared even with my shaky hands. Worst case you can always sand it down or use thinners to clean the paint off and try again or use decals. I would recommend looking at pandatroopers ATA ABS #1 helmet build for some good tips on how to paint.
  14. I edited my earlier reply, but you replied so fast that maybe you missed that. Essentially any picture that is copied from your EIB thread that does not show armour of Centurion spec needs retaking.
  15. As good excuse as any to suit up again I guess. Thanks for understanding!
  16. Copying photos from your EIB thread is fine as long as the armour in the pictures are of Centurion grade. If not, they should not be included here. I mean no offence. I just need to put my foot down in order to not let this become a trend. So with that said, what I would like to see is that any picture copied from your EIB thread that includes elements that are not of Centurion spec to be retaken and updated herein.
  17. If that bothers you then you should clear coat it. Expect the paint to rubb off if you don't. I've handled their DLT-19 and the paint does rubb off very easily.
  18. Thanks! Approved! Congratulations. You may want to replace the webbing on the drop boxes with white elastic for the extra accuracy.
  19. Helmet looks a little funky, but nothing to worry about. Approved!
  20. Stick around and be helpful and you'll be there in no time. Took me about 2 years. Easy. [subliminal messaging]
  21. Armour looks great as I mentioned. But you're missing the cocking handle on your blaster. That's a show stopper until you fix it. But once you do, you should be good to go.
  22. Also try to lower your biceps, you're wearing them too high. They are not supposed to be hidden under your shoulder bell.
  23. I don't think we'll have an issue here, your armor looks great. But could you upload larger images of your full-body pictures?
  24. How come your tears and traps are different in some of the pictures? I realize that you probably had the decals upgraded, but I'd like to see some preparation before submitting by making sure that all pictures used are up to spec. For all that I know, you might as well have used someone else's helmet pictures. With that said, your armour does look good and I'll spend more time reviewing it once this is cleared up.
