Rest assured that FISD staff is dealing with the issue. In the meantime I'm offering to personally refund you the money Mason owes you.
  2. Mesh or no mesh is irrelevant to Centurion. While MEPD's SWAT system requires no mesh, we do not. No mesh is the accurate option, as the mesh is something invented long ago by the 501st as a way to prevent curious kids from spoiling the illusion. It is however such a small detail compared to some other things that still are allowed in the Centurion program, that fuzzing over that is in my opinion a waste of time until the other areas are addressed. I think I have seen enough now, and hereby approve you as Centurion. Good work trooper.
  3. They actually are faucet aerators. But good luck finding the right one that's 35+ years old.
  4. Fernando, how do you feel about trimming down your thighs a bit more? They are clearly too big for you. Alternatively I suppose you could gain some 25 Kg, but i think trimming is quicker and healthier.
  5. I think that's firebladejedi's armour. He's a great builder, so if you follow his lead you'll be fine.
  6. It is the back side of the snap, meaning it points inwards. The purpose is to help keep the armour closed as there is a matching elastic with the other half of the snap glued inside the kidney plate to mach up with this snap.
  7. I will continue the review, but I can answer the UKG decal question. It is not permitted for Centurion clearance. It is however a very old and nice tradition in the UKG, and the only garrison with LFL approval to wear theirs at canon troops. Therefore, I suggest taking it off for the pictures and putting it back later.
  8. Now you're making more sense. Well, good luck!
  9. Why don't you just tell him to post here himself? It's better to know yourself than to just be told.
  10. Yes. It's been changed since this thread was created.
  11. More likely a late version recast. I'm not an expert on how the old FX thighs used to look like, but they are rare these days that I find the chance of that slim. Also, your TD is not FX, so that has been changed in your kit.
  12. The AM helmet is basically the same, but has a more rounded back to look less square when viewed from the side.
  13. I would go for epoxy in this case.
  14. Long side is the right side. Any wire will do. But you might not want it too flimsy.
  15. Most people are actually wearing their belt too low, causing others into thinking that's the right way when it's not.
  16. The rest of the build? What are you trying to do? You can't change the blaster sounds in a hasbro. This project is for building your own soundboard, not modifying an existing one.
  17. A new helmet entirely wouldn't be bad. But it looks like you did a good job on improving what you had to work with.
  18. FX has always been like this. Even it's successor the AM is made like that.
  19. Both kinds were used.
  20. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=8047&st=120#entry251780 Nudge, nudge, hint, hint.
  21. Hi Thanks for the new pictures. Although I don't really grasp why you chose to wear your plastic hand guards for the pictures. The point of the rubber gloves is to use them! Don't just buy them and stick them on a shelf people! I think I have seen enough, and don't have much to comment on that is not inherit from the armour itself. However, you could wear your biceps a bit lower. You're obviously a tall guy since you need RT-MOD so you should have the arm length to wear the biceps properly. I'd also recommend moving the belt clips on your TD further out towards the end caps. Pretty much all the way so that they are touching the caps. With that said, you are finally approved.
  22. Needs new names, and it would be nice with a new design as well.
  23. Here's the current design:
