  1. You can copy this application. While I'm not approving the holster rivets as is for centurion, your application is miles above EIB. This will just be formality because EIB is required before centurion can be awarded.
  2. Sounds good! I also just noticed that you don't have EIB yet, so make sure that you apply for that first. The reason I insist you fix the holster rivets could be likened with "The CRL doesn't say I can't wear my biceps upside down". It might not be in the CRL, but it's not right and we both know it. Centurion is an "idealised" screen accurate award, and the overall look, disregarding any screw ups in the costume department is what we're going for.

  5. How's the change on the belt going? You're so close it would be silly not fix it.
  6. Good work on the changes. I like them. The colour of the blaster still eludes me since it looks so much more grey than black. But I'm going to trust you it is black and it's just the camera messing with the hues. Sorry for the delay in processing. Approved!
  7. You will have to add a D-ring to that blaster. Otherwise you should be fine. That holster does look a fair bit oversized.
  8. While there is still room for improvements, as it has already been mentioned, I will go ahead and approve this. But I would recommend spending some time to implement the suggestions.
  9. The missing ear stripe from the helmet pictures, that appears on the full body pictures leaves me quite confused as to whether you have it or not. But you should have it on the last bump if you haven't added it already. And as mentioned, your belt is still sitting too low on the ab, but I take it that because of your cut cod that there is nothing you can do to correct that any more. But for the intents and purposes of EIB, you are approved! You will however also have to post an action photo for our EIB page.
  10. I'm liking the changes so I'm going ahead and approving this.
  11. Or you could make your own from piano wire with a pair of pliers.
  12. Yeah I'd say so too. It's pointless to mod something if you don't know if you need to mod it.
  13. Luckily the official Swedish youtube channel (apparently we have one!) put togeather an informative video about midsummer.
  14. Looking forward to seeing your progress!
  15. RS are the only ones that sell suits in PVC. Historically no other maker has used it so people's experience with PVC is very limited. That's why they recommend ABS. I've built my TM in ABS and a friends RS suit in PVC. From a building perspective it doesn't matter which you choose. From a trooping perspective it depends on a lot more than that. PVC is very nice and flexible which makes it durable. But ABS is also flexible and durable. With ABS it depends more on the thickness and chemical composition of the plastic since many makers use different suppliers and different kinds of ABS. For example, take 3 ABS suits, one from TM, one from RS and one from AP or ATA. Neither will behave the same, even if we had the same thickness of the plastic. With PVC, since RS are the only ones selling it, you only have one choice. The bottom line is that it doesn't matter as much as you think. Their PVC is glossier and slightly more flexible than their ABS. But other vendors, for example TM makes some very shiny and flexible ABS too.

  17. We have some pretty decent images in our gallery of the sterling and what is painted how: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/album/40-sterling-l2a3-mk-4/
  18. The extra stitching is actually only a problem for centurion. Not EIB.
  19. That would be a correct assumption. The right kind of rivets to hold the pack are cap rivets.
  20. If it's not on our list of recommended sellers, we can't promise anything. It's very unlikely a better product than what we recommend. This page is a list of known bad sellers. Not a list of every bad seller. it would be impossible to keep up with everyone. If you want good armour, read here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/ Anything else is buyer beware.
  21. It looks to me like the front of the holster is a bit too short, meaning that it should have started higher up, which makes your blaster sit higher up on the holster when inside it. As it is now, it is as you say likely that the muzzle would stick out from the bottom if you cut the overall length.
  22. Beautiful! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  23. You need to show all four rivets for EIB. Either you cut the excess or get a new belt. Your choice. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
