  1. Excellent find. Congratulations!
  2. Mine are a cotton/lycra blend. I think they are cotton. I am sure about the lycra however.
  3. I have both nomes gloves and rubber. Since I started using glove liners I have not used the nomex gloves once. The rubber is with the liners much more comfortable. And more accurate. Even in warm weather or direct sun is it tolerable.
  4. It doesn't work as good as we hoped to be honest. At best it works as a quick ID tag when browsing the forum, but not so much when searching.
  5. Please follow the instructions in post 1.
  6. Only the two butt snaps are silver. All others are brass. The ab and kidney rivets are even brass, painted white. Edit: I realize I wasn't very clear. By all others I was talking about the split rivets. All snaps are "silver", and all split rivets brass (unless of a variance yet to be identified).
  7. The ab->kidney split rivets are also mostly brass. There were variances between which rivets were used, but most are plain solid head brass.
  8. Silver. It's the single crotch split rivet that is brass.
  9. I have used it plenty in all combinations. Not once have I seen any indications on melting, even after taking the pieces apart and looking at the join. Personally I think this is fear mongering and people should stop doing it. Use glue as intended and it will work as intended. IE in moderation and according to instructions.
  10. Should have, could have, would have. It's been almost years since then. I'm doing just fine financially nonetheless.
  11. I do that on smaller shipments. But the Fett came in two big boxes. It's quite unlikely that those would only be worth a few hundred.
  12. Considering the value of the shipment, it sounds like you got away cheap. Most countries have a lot more import tax. When I imported a Fett costume from the US I paid $400+ something in VAT and fees.
  13. Wouldn't any of these work? They seem to have well beyond 1300mAh. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-PANASONIC-NCR-18650-A-Li-Ion-3100mAh-3-6V-Rechargeable-Lithium-BATTERY-18700-/360609416740?pt=UK_ConsumerElectronics_Batteries_SM&hash=item53f5ff0624 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-Genuine-PANASONIC-NCR-18650B-Li-Ion-3400mAh-3-6V-Rechargeable-Lithium-BATTERY-/360648238598?pt=UK_ConsumerElectronics_Batteries_SM&hash=item53f84f6606 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3600mAH-3-6V-Lithium-Battery-Pack-for-Sony-PSP-1-PSP1000-PlayStation-New-9146-/150817619699?pt=UK_Batteries&hash=item231d6e3ef3 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2Pcs-UltraFire-18650-4000mAh-3-6-4-2V-Lithium-Batteries-Black-UK-/190835514509?pt=UK_ConsumerElectronics_Batteries_SM&hash=item2c6eaedc8d
  14. I'm looking at overall fit of the armour and detail placements, not return edges on the back and butt for centurion. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  15. I suppose it has it's pro's. I just never saw it as a major selling point, like others seem to do.
  16. I'm glad that you like you kit, although on a personal level I'm still not getting the "pre-trimmed" hype. You still have to trim it to your size since no kit will ever fit perfectly out of the box, and all trimming is basically the same effort. You just change where you make the cut to trim off more or less, but it's still the same amount of effort. But don't let me put you down. Keep your chin up and take your time. And have fun!
  17. 9 volt battery was a example of size, rather than a suggestion based on its capacity. Either way, I'm glad the links contained what you needed.
  18. Because you get no second chances with super glue. That's fine with clones that you can sand over and it will be hidden by paint. Not really an option with glossy stormtroopers.
  19. You only need about half the things he shows in his videos, if even that much. He's using the videos to push the wares he sells on trooperbay. On the other hand, I guess it helps some people that have problems grasping how to do something by just looking at pictures and reading text.
  20. Darth Voorhees recently made a pipe kit and sold two runs on here. Check with him if he has any left. As for the battery, I think you'll fit a 9 volt easily. But for specific measurements I suggest going through this thread, it ought to be in there somewhere. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16705-the-best-sterling-templates-ever/ I would look it up myself for you, but I got to head to work in a minute. Edit: found a post that I think has what you are looking for in terms of dimensions: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16705-the-best-sterling-templates-ever/page-8#entry204846 and http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16705-the-best-sterling-templates-ever/page-9#entry206936
