When I first got into this hobby I had a great deal of respect for Matt and Gino. The more I was exposed to them the more disdain I had for them. Matt's a hippocritical double crosser and Gino is just a tyrannical crybaby. And TE2 I disagree with you. I have never seen a TE bucket that could match the sharpness and detail found on my beloved TE2 bucket. TE2 is hands-down "The Master".

I'm still gonna be trooping and active on the boards, Occasionally I will do a special run of some cool things but no more ongoing runs. Dec 5th sounds like fun! I took the kids to the last troop and they had a blast, who knows I might end up sticking them in jawa robes before long

I've put alot of thought into this and I have come to the conclusion that I will no longer be able to offer any lens, gloves or T track on a regular basis any more. I have recently taken full custody of my kids and become a full time parent. Additionally I have to start looking into getting a larger house. I have gotten behind on orders and I no longer have time to stay on top. I also had to have my 11 yr old dog euthanized this week and get repairs done to my truck which has put me in a jam. I have GF armor and I too have identical forearms not to mention identical biceps, hmmm and identical shins and shoulder bells. It still looks fantastic tho. PS and identical drop boxes too lolz

Maker of things has already been listed on the Propsafe Forum as a known recaster of TE2. Not a far stretch since his blasters have been recasted from a Master Replica E-11 all along. Also The S in HIPS stands for styrene

Hey Paul, I'd avoid that set of armor if I were you. Its FX armor and most likely recast at that. The helmet is clearly a horrible SDS recast. You will get a much better deal by contacting AP, TE2, ATA or TM for your white plastic needs

Actually it's a Mr. Work in Progress LoL thats an older pic and the helmet was finished about a month ago. I topped it off with some of Scott M.'s most excellent blue tube stripes.

ATA and AP are roughly the same size from what I've heard. Here's a pic of my TE2 and ATA side by side. Keep in mind the ATA looks even smaller in this pic because its a hero helmet and the brow sits higher up into the dome to get the low brow effect. End result:makes it look even smaller. So maybe its not a fair comparison but you get the idea. ----------

As far as size difference goes, by itself, you would never notice. Put it beside a TE2 and its slightly noticeable. The ATA helmet is cast from a CAP helmet and the buck material experienced some shrinkage as it cured. So the mold came out smaller than its predecessor helmet.

Bill, that was a CAP helmet. Its basically just like an ATA but the ATA is just a wee bit smaller but still looks great. I think my next set of armor is gonna be ATA when I can swing the funds. The Mirror lens I used for that one was an item I got from THE MOTORCYCLE SUPERSTORE online called AFX FastShield. You can get it in all sorts of different colors. I paid about $25 shipped for the AFX fastshield.

Polyseamseal Ultra Gloss White Caulk. You don't even have to paint it.

I use Rustoleum Gloss Smoke Gray or Testor's 1138

If the paint got scratched off it would be less noticeable than exposed white plastic.

Prices always seem to boom a little 'round Halloween time. I'd get ATA to pull one in black if thats an option. Would it be Black high gloss HIPS? Flat black HIPS wouldnt do you much good cuz you'd still have to paint it anyway. My recommendation: Get a plain ole' White ATA and gloss it black with Rustoleum. I've done it several times and they turn out great. I did one so glossy one time you could see next week's reflection in it.
