I know 3PO had a memory wipe and that explains alot, but still he should have been recognizable. How many gold plated protocol droids could there have been. I can see R2 getting overlooked tho.

This is true, and not to mention Vader built 3PO as a child. One thing that always bugged me about the trilogy and the prequels is that Kenobi and Vader had no recognition of R2 and 3PO.

I'm gonna go with...after the first shot fired by Boba the rest of the stormtroopers would chime in with their blasters and the ensuing firefight could kill Leia, Chewie and 3PO. Then Luke would have no one left to try to rescue and spoil the bait for Vaders trap. But then again he could just have a soft spot for wookies.

Agreed, the second fiberglass helmet he also has for sale is a major red flag. The ears on the supposed SGB helmet look horrible. There are much better options out there. On a side note I have seen more and more Rotocast TK buckets on ebay as of late. I believe TE did a small run of rotocast helmets (good luck finding one) and kwdesigns does a legit rotocast TK bucket from his own sculpt. Other than those two, a fiberglass TK bucket is generally not what it claims to be.

Well if you do some reading you will see where I agreed with you that leather or canvas should be an option for EIB. **see post #13 HERE ** Paul made his decision long ago. I do not always agree with Paul but I always support him. The matter being brought up again despite the decision being clearly stated warranted a "dead horse" remark. Please don't pity me, I'm sure you can make more constructive use of your time.

I THINK that the neck trim on the TIE helmets in the film were the brow trim for the TKs, but I'm sure the Weber's trim will work as well.

Well, it says Skygunbro loud and clear and SGB is very much in opposition to recasting and there has not been a thread on the RPF concerning this helmet so if I was betting man, I would say its legit. If it wasn't legit I'm positive it would be blowing up on the RPF and also on Propsafe. So far no radio chatter.

Extremely re-assuring

There are several ways you can go with this. Any black trim about 1/2" thick will work. There is the stuff from SealsDirect that is almost spot on to the movie helmets. Then there is Weber's neck trim. Looks spot on to the SealsDirect trim but a wee bit smaller. ------------ RG102 Weber part number

As far as I can recall, in the movies, it was always a click sometimes not even a click but never a static burst. It still makes for a cool effect none the less.

I am always baffled about why people want the static burst feature so bad when there was no static burst in the movies. That whole static burst thing was started by the "Troops" fan film. *end rant*

I prefer fresh shiney CABoots but littledragon is correct about painted boots being more screen accurate. TKDUEUNO recently made a thread about removing the luster from CABoots. Its a very nice looking boot mod and it makes the CABoots a perfect color match for ABS armor.

Looks like you have made some of the suggested adjustments and it looks like it fits you much better now. As far as the stripe going over the decal location on the back of the helmet, best move there will be to put the decal over the stripe.

Post your pics like you posted last time and I'll recode em for ya like before. I wouldnt worry so much about scratches. In most peoples opinion, the more natural dings in the armor, the better. That helmet looks like an MRCE and from your description of it such as brow trim being part of the helmet it sounds like an MRCE recast and it looks like it could use some decals in a few places too. A TM helmet would be a big improvment but I would focus more on fitting your armor before moving onto the helmet. Get some pics of the parts you have questions about and also some shots of your progress we are all suckers for pics pics and more pics. We'll have you looking top notch in no time at all.

Need to get that Underarmor logo covered near your neck. The buckles connecting the chest and back plate under your arms may be an issue. Youre getting close! Keep up the good work, your armor looks great!
