ANH Stunt MTK Progress
RogueTrooper replied to TK5492's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Hey Tyler the fitting so far look good. But the canvas belt needs to be a bit longer, so don't worry able it coming lose, especially with the weight of the Thermal Detonator in that area of the belt . Plus you don't want to see that much Velcro. BTW I like the pix...It looks like you have no legs.... -
Blasters are not required for legion membership per our weapons policy:http://www.501st.com.../Weapons_policy But for EI and Centurion, they are a Detachment optional levels. We do ask to have the correct style of weapon/s for the photos to apply for those levels.

First to address Vern's (TK Bondservnt 2392) post above you posted the EI requirements for ANH EI not ESB. Now, link to the ESB requirements: http://www.501st.com...ostuming:TK_esb EI requirements for ESB canon style state: For level two certification (if applicable): Folding stock (does not need to function). No ammo counter shall be present. (This means, even on the Hasbro integrated part that looks like the counter will be removed) D-ring mounted on the rear. Correct style scope. No power cylinders on the magazine housing. Scratch-built, resin cast, Hyperfirm rubber cast blasters shall have a total of 6 T-tracks on blaster (leaving the lowest row on the magazine housing side uncovered). If using the Hasbro E11 toy blaster and you cover all the rows of holes, the blaster will have 7 T-tracks total. But, if you want to have the correct number of T-tracks (6 total) with the lower row of open vent holes on the magazine housing side, then you shall cover the pre-existing rows of holes with T-tracks, and grind off the lower integrated T-track on the magazine housing side and drill a new row of holes in its place. The same would apply if you were doing the ESB promo and modding a Hasbro. If was me, for a ESB, I would look into a pipe kit or the complete E11 kit for DoopyDoo and just not use the ANH add-on/greeblies. http://www.doopydoos...ffer-2685-p.asp http://www.doopydoos...-kit-2068-p.asp

There are members that have done this to their TK to increased mobility (bending over/setting). Some like it, some stay with the AB and crotch one piece...Just make sure you cover the split with the belt well. No this would stop you from getting your TK# Just like I said above, as long as the belt covers it and you cannot see the split from the AB and crotch.

Requirement Confusion
RogueTrooper replied to TK5492's topic in FISD Expert Infantry Badge (EIB) Requirements
Hi Tyler, I see that you have ANH stunt with the EIB. With this different suit/kit, are you doing a different style of TK (ANH Hero, ESB, ROTJ or one of the EU TKs) How we have it set up, it is like the TK is going through grade levels. you have to pass the first grade level to go on to the next. If you are doing a different style of TK, you will need to go through the EI level then you can apply for Centurion. And if you are changing out your old ANH Stunt (that has the EIB) with a new ANH Stunt, then the same thing would apply. You would need to reply. This help members to see your progression with your new TK. Can wait to see your pix of your TK man!!! -
Very cool Ingrid! A Garrison mate was going to do a Shock Trooper, then changed his mind and did a 327th clone. Cannot wait to see yours. BTW, once you go dirty/weathered , you get in your blood to have everything dirty/weathered.....

The position 1 is the one I would do. I have seen a few power cylinders placed a weee bit closer (5mm to 10mm) to the main body, but in the same direction/angle. But, if you like the position 1, you should still be good to go.

Jes Gistang - research thread
RogueTrooper replied to Daetrin's topic in Legacy Stormtrooper (Joker Squad)
Hey Dean, I don't think anyone has started on the armor yet (more R&D). I did an article last year that highlighted some of are great women that wear white armor. Here the link to it: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=16812 We will have the first Female Centurion there at C6 (Olga Plaza, TK9061. She is in the Florida Garrison, Everglades Squad). Hope it helps man. See ya at C6. -
Jeff, bro, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I will tell my Garrison to do the same for you as well.

I wondering why some of you would have a problem would the boots be scuffed? Are you not trying to make your TK closer to what is seen on screen when you are working towards Centurion? In ANH, ESB you can clearly see that the boots are black and painted roughly/sloppy white and the had scuffs and paint chips etc. from them being used etc... For the Endor ROTJ, (battle worn) it would look weird to have a suit of armor with battle wear and have nice clean shiny boots, would it not?? I would think you anyone wanting to be more accurate would want the scuffs...If you are wanting to make your TK closer to screen, then the scuffs would be a part of that. You don't have to go to the extreme as you seen in the pix below with the wear and tear.... ESB: Promo shots of ANH:

RogueTrooper replied to Arnie_DK's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Awesome Morten!!!! I always liked the Scout look.... I been working on doing a Scout bike (1:1) because in my Garrison we got a lot of TBs and it would be great for the troops/events. Have fun with your TB build, keep us updated. And watch out for those trees and little rabid teddy bears.... -

Patience padawans, all In do time, unfortunately it is a hurry up and wait deal. I am waiting on the discussions about the ROTJ basic level requirements and their vote/poll to end, before starting on anything. As you know, it would be nuts to start in on laying out the split until we see if there are any amended info. (cart before the horse)
