2024-03-09, Scouts Pinewood Derby Short troop. Entertaining kids escalated when they had a electrical problem for their hi-tech track system. But the troop leader was a fan of all the recent Disney SW content, so I appreciated the positivity. If there is a winner for theme, this TK car is it! Stormtrooper Oddities - What have you noticed? There you are watching your favourite Star Wars movie and then you notice something odd with a particular Stormtrooper that you hadn't seen before, there are a lot of oddities seen in the movies, some are really common, here's one of the most recognisable "Mr No Stripes" Now that doesn't mean you can rush out and pull off your tube stripes and get approval for another version of Stormtrooper, CRL's are made with consistency in mind so if you only see one of a particular thing it's an oddity and won't be in the CRL's Seems the more times you watch the movies the more you notice and especially once you research a particular costume/character, so what have you noticed?, let's see the obscurest you have found so far. I'll start the ball rolling, I thought I'd seen them all but I must admit I hadn't noticed this trooper's oddity until just recently, seems to have been in a hurry to dress and forgot which shin goes on what side. Now lets see your most obscure oddity, post away.

Finally got back to working on the ears after life got in the way (death in the family, expected, but still sad, then both households getting sick). I THINK we are in good shape though. I would have liked to have zero gap, but am happy with the bit of gap that is present. Assuming we are good, I will start working on patching the old holes this week and then move on to painting. A question regarding the opening/bottom. How much is trimmed away for the S seal? Troop #43 This weekend we are attending Acme Comic Con in Glasgow. We were raising funds for Glasgow Children's Hospital charity.

Teeth look much better. Tube stripes spacing is generally a pencil width as your image now shows BUT it's only an "ideal" position, you would probably get basic and L2 approval how they are now, you would need to adjust them for L3 though Ideally, the tube stripes are positioned approximately a pencil width from the side of the cheek.

And you can't unsee it! No film will ever be the same as you will now look for all the details, errors, and any variation between different stormtroopers! It's exciting! My favorite error is in ESB when a stormtrooper has one of their bicep pieces rotated 180 degrees from its proper position.

Armor is shipped and will hopefully arrive soon

As many of you may now be aware, yesterday evening justjoseph63 tendered his resignation as detachment leader to the FISD staff. The Legion COG team was then notified of this, who today accepted this resignation and have now begun to take the appropriate actions as defined by the Operations Protocols. What does this mean for the detachment? The OP provides for 2 options: The XO may step up and assume the DL position, subject to a confidence vote by the detachment membership. Should the XO not be willing, and emergency election will be held. As XO I have informed the LCOG team that I am willing to assume the DL role.
