Tiny update - I modified my rolling bin to allow the pack to strap on. This is a $7 truck bed bungee from Harbor Freight cut way down. I can roll it, I can tip it. I can even open the lid and the pack stays right in place. I'm gonna suit up on Thursday for my first HWT troop. EXCITED!

Nice work, almost there Just a couple of things to note, you thighs appear to be hitting your cod, you could drop the thighs a little to give you some room, also shins could come down a touch to give you a little room at the knees. There is also a big gap between the chest and ab plate in a few images, may need some tighter strapping behind. Also note the cover strip on your left leg should stop above the lower ridge. I would also just rim the cover strip on the top of your left thigh, it could catch when moving around or walking Make sure those drop boxes align with the ends of your plastic belt

I doubt the purchasers of the last few suits would even know that the armor was not the actual Mandalorian version intended to be front and center in the show and that they were actually purchasing a ANH version from a 501st legion member who appeared on the show. Would I be upset if I found out this was an extra/fill in costume? DAMN RIGHT but I'm not the purchaser, who knows if the purchases did find out how they would react. It's really not false advertising as the suit was used on the show. The actual issues with the costume though I'm surprised it met LFL standards to be used on the show but who knows who is checking that prior to attendance. I don't have any issues with the seller either, listen if I could get 10 grand or more for one of my costumes I'd sell it too, I could really use the money, I would however be thinking would someone be trying to contact me later when they find out what they had bought. Who knows, that's just me.

If someone is going to pay that much money it could at least look up to our higher standards, so that "false information" doesn't spread

This will be the 4th set of armour auctioned off as 501st members cash in on their screen time in the TV series. At least the fourth I am aware of, could be another. If Disney don't care then why should legion right. It's not a good look in my books, but each to their own. Generally if you can be bothered doing some sleuthing, it's not too hard to figure out who it is putting it up for auction. That's how we worked out who sold the first couple lol. Wonder how much this one will garner, I do find it interesting to see what the perceived value is to a collector on any given day/auction.

Very cool idea! I struggled to come up with a sig design and did the not-at-your-post thing to fill space in the meantime, but it stuck. Glen's still impresses me.

I retook the full body back photo and posted the new one after I noticed the tight shoulder bridge was lifted. I heated and adjusted the right shoulder bridge to get it to sit flat on the back. Boiling pot of water for the win. Before After

It could also possibly eliminate the need of filling in any gap in higher approvals later on! Lower thigh ridge joins (front and rear) shall butt-up flush against each other. Any gaps must be backed with ABS or filled as not to be noticeable.

Hi Alex, If I may , adjusting a little more the lower section of your thighs (it looks like you have enough room) would give a better look. Not too square legs. This is easy to accomplish by reducing lower section joint. References

You could move the straps from the shoulder bells further forward on your shoulder straps, this helps them to come inwards. Or if that doesn't work you could pull them further forwards/inwards for your approval photos, then adjust them back when taking the back photos.

Well, I hope I got it right this time. I know, the gap is going to be filled with some putty and will straighten the outlines when I am finally finished adjusting the fit. I hate being short and having large thighs though it's all good. I am still learning here and will get this right. LOL.

I’ve been going over the pieces and I would say the plastic is fine, as a plastic kit goes it’s not flimsy per say. A good quality kit all in all.

Rustoleum paint works best for plastic. Usually two coats of primer and two coats of paint. Also paint at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Maybe all the little pieces of dust would give it a nice weathering effect .
