Good idea. Right now, its stored away in a storage unit. Ill have to find it, pull it out, and take some pics. IM not sure pics will really show the difference in texture (that's another thing about the suit... It has a 'coarse' texture in comparison to my Walt's suit...1 point

My first test fit of the lower parts! Wow, feels so good to actually wear something. I found out I needed to adjust and trim some parts on the cod, thighs and shins. Also got to see how the gaskets work so I added more foam to fill things out. Thank goodness for my wife helping me suit up . I hope I can learn how to don this myself. I ended up trimming more from the tops of the thighs in the front and back. Is this looking ok? This fine tuning the parts should help me move better and maybe dress myself.1 point

Hello I recently discovered this thread and thanks to DeltaReynolds's model of the helmet I was able to make a reference sheet of this trooper design This probably won't mean much to anyone but I just wanted to give my thanks, it's nice seeing other people with the same passion to this trooper design1 point

Greetings all. I would like to formally announce our CRL team for the year, starting with our new editions. Daniel (TheSwede) TK-55669 IPM and Justin (TheRascalKing) TK-61490 IPM. Both these members have a keen eye for accuracy, have built several costumes and will make valuable additions to the team. The rest of the team consists of Joseph (justjoseph63) TK-10963 DO Mario (TKSpartan) TK-48117 DO Jose (Chemi) TK-30173 DO Glen (grmhodes13) TK-85421 DPRO Tony (ukswrath) TK-10116 DPRO And myself as LMO contact, Wiki doc editor and general word refinement. Currently the TLJ/TroS CRL work thread is in Hard armour so all are welcome to contribute to the conversion. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/48906-tlj-tros-crl-update-work-flow/ Once we are satisfied with the proposal for changes, we will again set up Polls for membership to vote on before actioning the updates and releasing the improved CRL. This years CRL approach will be systematic to keep focus on updating costumes that need it the most, before moving to check through others to see if we need to align descriptions, add new photos that more accurately represent the costumes, and look for minor typos and errors.1 point

I still have a ways to go but if I keep it up maybe in a month I could have a really nice mod, at the very least a nice render model. I added the black part of the mustache/mouth and then I whipped up a body. Am I missing anything model wise? Proportions could be worked on. I used DICE's assets and there are proportions issues and such. BTW any progress on the armor set? Can't wait to see it and hope everyone here is doing fine.1 point

I managed to notice that in edit mode the shape of the vents(?) were outlined because of how the model was made, so I selected the vertices and made a new material. New render, still chipping away at it.1 point

Sounds like I have some gluing to be done once this makes it to the CRL. At this point I think we just need to decide the exact position of the square button and the IC sockets. Although not required, for a higher level of screen accuracy on the E-11 certain greeblies may be added as an option: 1. Two 14 pin IC sockets located on the sight as seen here: Front of forward socket shall sit directly behind front section of sight. Back of rear socket shall be located directly in front of rear section as shown. All prongs are bent upward. The other greeblies can be added if you like, but since they are not too prominent we can omit them. I really don't want to make the CRLs any more confusing. In all honesty I don't feel as if I can charge for these. The IC sockets cost me 18 cents each and the cost of resin to make the other parts is less than 10 cents. Being borderline OCD I would rather see folks take advantage of adding them for screen accuracy.1 point

I think if anyone wants to add these after an approval is not a problem. If it's not in the CRL you are going to freak out GML's all over the world Most applicants take photos with blasters even for basic where the blaster is not required but I can imagine the questions because many are accustomed to the E-11. I also think you can charge a couple of bucks to cover your costs plus postage Joseph.1 point
