  5. Lol, I should crank all the lights off and light up the blacklights. Take a few shots of the Trooper.

  6. Have I ever mentioned I'm totally envious you having an arcade as a workshop?

  7. I saw the logo too and forgot to mention it. Those things always rub off whenever I get clothes with them. However, not all the styles had the logo. So, if you want a slightly thicker version for the colder months it's there logo free.

  8. Nice work trooper just a few suggestions before the DO's get here: Appears your belt is on a little bit of an angle, could be the weight of the blaster, usually remove for photos You have some return edge which could be trimmed on the neck, also the larger tab on the shoulder straps could be trimmed Your drop boxes are not quite aligned with the end of the plastic belt. Also you have some return edge on the end of the belt, button covers could also be closer to the end of the belt You have a gap between the butt plate and kidney, V taps can help keep this in alignment. Kidney is just overlapping the ab plate, also looks as if the "Han" snap could be closer to the corner but a close up image could help see this Could you also post the following images. Close up of front of the sniper plate Interior strapping Close up ab/kidney rivets Close up "Han" snap Good luck with approval

  12. Hey everyone, found some time to work my armor. Got the chest and back trimmed out, now on to the pesky shoulder straps. I am definitely looking at all the posts to see how to do this if you have any faves or recommendations please feel free to let me know!

  13. Wow! I have so far to go yet. Belt is probably going to have to be replaced/reworked. I think something is up with the codpiece elastics. Chest riding up too high. So many issues I can see. Can't get the belt snapped as the snaps are in between the hollow parts. The arcade needs a good mopping and sweeping.

  15. Guess I never updated my build thread. Here's my EIB app and approval thread! Now I'm going for centurion, I fixed all the mandatory centurion items so I'll hopefully post that thread soon. Baby is due this week (hopefully not today, the hospital is 2 blocks away from the superbowl!) so I should have some time off work to help the wifey, and take a few more pictures For the Centurion fixes I trimmed and lowered the helmet brow, I added white to fill the gap on the thigh piece, I glued the belt boxes into place, and I think that was all I needed to do. I think I adjusted the forearms so they were slightly lower, and Ill have to look at the thigh placement when I wear the suit next. So... I need to suit up, take a few pics, and I should have centurion in the bag!

  17. Are you actually building the Mudtrooper? https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TX_-_Mudtrooper If so, (and even if your focus is the Army Trooper) you should check out the SpecOps forum, home of both the Mudtrooper and Imperial Army Trooper. The folks there will be able to provide you with more info and accurate vendor recommendations. https://forum.specops501st.com/ FISD (where you are at) is the home of the clean Stormtroopers! There are many other "detachments" that are home to the different costumes.

  18. I'd imagine so, if it was long enough. Those logos do tend to rub off after repeated washes though. I'll experiment when I get home to see if i can peel it off.
