What are you doing this weekend?

Finally got to bed at 1am - still a little jet lagged from the China trip. I had to coordinate and troop an event this morning then dash off to the airport to pick up my wife/kids who are now back in the states. I realize I still have to:

1. Create text for the 501st calendar

2. Find out what's up with the latest patch runs

3. Do a little TLC on my armor (yeah, like I'll get time for that :P)

4. Do some email work for the Star Wars in Concert troop coming up

5. Get pix out of the camera!

6. Post pix to here, and to the Chinese Outpost as a thank you

7. Pick up my fish from the neighbors

8. Bake cookies, make dinner, kidz, etc.

9. Actually do some work for work tomorrow

10. Read three technical magazines that came in the mail since I left

11. More kidz

12. Show off pix from today's troop - new hand plates + back to using my ANH Hero

13. More stuff - too much to list :-p

Seems my weekend is chock full of Legion, work, or kids, and I can't see doing it all. Anyone else have a weekend like this?

Mine has been crazy too:

1. Took friday off to spend time with wife. Printed pictures for her work.

2. Armor worK: Worked on my thigh armor (thank the maker and Stukatrooper for the heat iron trick!)

3. Helped my wife with her costume for halloween (she's going as a classic Hong Kong movie style Chinese vampire). I tried to talk her into a Leia costume (not even Slave Leia, just white robe Leia!) and it was a no go. Maybe next year.

4. Attended Windows 7 release party at friends house (didn't tell him that I love my Mac and have been an apple user for like 20+ years) :)

5. Armor work: Started working on my torso, cut the butt piece and did the snaps and snap plates.

6. Volunteered at a rabbit rescue festival (my wife and I have 2 house rabbits, we also volunteer for local rabbit shelters).

7. Attended brother in laws birthday (had cake and Beard papas cream puffs!)

8. Armor work: got the side rivets and "right side snap" done. Thanks Firebladejedi and TKdueno!

9. Tomorrow: finish the shoulder straps for the torso, attach the inner harness. Possibly do the thigh garters.

10: Monday: Armor work: more helmet work (finish filing teeth and fitting ears). It's Canadian Thanksgiving, so it will be turkey madness!

You all sound much busier than me :D Yesterday went to do some shopping, bought new Star Wars Insider, then went to see Amorphis in concert. Today got some work to finish up before monday, then carrying on with some tweeks to my armour and building my new lid

Aside from the usual housecleaning, weekend errands, etc. . . .

Yesterday - Trooped the Lego Star Wars Visual Dictionary release at Borders Bookstore in Fairfax, VA. Fairly small troop (5 troopers, around 50 or so fans). Still, this was a good tuneup for the big dance in a couple of weeks, that being Air & Scare at the National Air & Space Museum.

I'm on the far left. The other TKs from left to right are TK2718 (Bluehentrooper) and TK5625 (tiepilot1138).

Today - Headed to Party City to get Halloween costumes for the kids. ^_^

My weekend was busy, my buddy's b-day was on Friday so we went out for dinner and drinks that night. Saturday I trooped the Lego Star Wars Visual Dictionary release at the Lego store here in town, then trooped the Star Wars in concert event and watched the concert which was awesome. That evening my fiancee and I went out to dinner just the two of us which was nice. And this morning has been relax time.

Yesterday I spent the evening with my better half. We both got Chinese take out and watched reruns of the Osbourns.

Today I moved back into college from my week long break and brought all my armor with me to make my debut on Halloween. Then for a few hours putting up a new show in the Art Gallery I work at.

Nothing too eventful!

Got up early this morning and cooked breakfast for my fiance', apple cinnamon stuffed french toast (I watch way too much food network, ha), she loved it though. Spent the rest of the afternoon working around the house, putting some finishing touches on my armor and RT-Mod helmet: got my Hovi speakers installed and wired up tonight, they are working great!

Just got back from Detroit! Left home yesterday and went to Winsor ON, Canada. Hit the casino, experienced the night life, got 3 hours sleep and attended the Steelers vs. Lions game today at Ford Field! Steelers 28 - Lions 20. So all is well with the world! I'm dead tired so I'm going to bed! Great weekend! Great people up there in Michigan and north of the boarder!

I'm glad I'm not that busy this week. I'm still on vacation. I spent the last two days working on my vacuum form table. Tomorrow I get to plug it in for the first time. I'm really enjoying the slow down.

Gosh,

Just like so many others, life here in paradise has gotten so hectic lately. Sheesh! It's not even the holidays yet...

I really got to do some yard work this weekend.

Got to wash & wax the Mustang for an upcoming IA inspection.

Clean the house.

Do laundry.

Oh yeah...pull plastic. ;)

I'm so behind in my orders and new orders keep coming in...(not that I'm complaining  )

Have a great weekend gang whatever you're doing... :D

T :salute:

Right now I am monitoring at the art gallery I work at. Of course when I go to use the restroom, a piece falls off the wall! Just my luck.

Tomorrow we're celebrating my girl friend and I's birthdays (her's was a few weeks ago, mine is a few weeks from now) at a generic "Chucky Cheese" kind of place with mini golf laser tag, and an arcade with some friends .

Sunday I'm hoping to get to see Where the Wild Things Are, but we'll have to see how that pans out.
