You wear it well. :-) To my eye, all I’d possibly consider is moving your forearms up a tad to even the elbow and wrist gaps. If you wanted to add a little more to the stunt look, you could probably get away with extending the frown paint a little, too. Now that I've gone back and really studied screen grabs, you're absolutely right.....easy fix to shorten the strap between the biceps and forearms. Yea, I was basing my TD clips on some old photos of original suits which, to my eye, kind of had them all over the place (they were also crooked, which my personality just won't let me do ). With that said, there are definitely more of them that are touching the end caps than not....and the CRL says to do it that way. Easy fix in process. Shortened the straps between the biceps and forearms by about 5/8". It definitely looks better. You are missing a picture of the rivets of the ammo pack on your right knee. and you need to show the sniper plate placement. some small feedback though (won't affect approval), i would position your shins a little lower to your boot. Just an eye test, the shin guard looks better when its closer to your ankles. Also the elastic holding down the shoulder straps should be significantly thinner. I believe they should be 1/8". I agree with your opinion on placement, though. The shoulder strap will be an easy fix this weekend when I have a little free time. In reviewing the photo checklist, it appears that the photos you mention are on the Centurion list, not the EIB list. I have them, though, and will be happy to include them here if they're required. I do have a small piece of velcro at the top of my boots on the front to hold the shins in place, and keep them from twisting. Speaking of Centurion, I'm not 100% sure it's specified in the CRL, but the white elastic holding down your shoulder straps looks big - I believe 1/8" is screen-accurate. My current straps were a bit of guessing on my part. You are the second person to mention the 1/8" width, so I will be fixing that this weekend. Thanks for your help. CRL and EIB Application Requirements:All the required submission photos have been posted. Beautiful job on your build . With that Andrew and I have confirmed your armor displays all necessary elements as set out in the Expert Infantry CRL. Welcome to EI and congratulations. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. You have a few areas we'd like to go ever with you. Most are to enhance the overall look of your armor however, the accuracy of the armor is ultimately up to you. Shoulders should have minimal gap between them and the chest and back plates. Though you have very little gap in the front you have a relatively large gap in the rear. After careful review it appears you've done all you can do to bring these in closer. In our opinion either the bells were trimmed too much or are just to small for you. Though this wont effect you at the higher levels it is suggested maybe you look into replacing the bells. Here's a couple reference photos Next up the bicep to forearm gap. Though not bad your forearms could stand to be be adjusted a 1/2" or so closer to your biceps. Reference photo And lastly the posterior should sit directly below the kidney plate. Tuck that bad boy away and you're good. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions:In this section we prepare you the best we can for Centurion. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. At this time we see nothing from holding you back for a clean Centurion application if you so choose to apply.
