wannabetrooper
Has anyone seen this helmet on eBay? Looks to me like a MR CE helmet. Look at the brow and the ears. Old link, no longer exists Sly11 2020

Billhag
You've got to hand it to the guy,....he's taking 're-casting' to an whole new level He didn't even bother to take the bloody trims off FANTASTIC!!!
SuperTrooper
I think I've meet this guy. He came up to the 501st table at Motor City Comic Con showing off his vac formed E-11 and electrobinoculars. The stuff is decent but not great, just way overpriced. He did say that he hopes to someday join the 501st.
Daetrin[Admin]
Great - just what we need. I mean these helmets are pretty cheap already. What's he going to offer them at - $50 shipped?

And notice how he's careful to say that he didn't make them, but they were given to him from a "student production".

The other Jay
waitin for a guy who is going to recast a rubies tk bucket Oddly enough, I knew a guy a couple years ago that sculpted the cap, back and ears of a TK and then cast a Rubies TIE for the face. it actually turned out looking really good. SuperTrooper
i think that actually is one of makerofthings blasters, looks identical to the one i bought from him That's because they are both MR copies. EDIT: After looking at his youtube videos, I think he recast the MakerOfThings blaster. This also is the guy I saw at MCCC. EDIT2: He is also using pictures of a 501st member on his store homepage. Jumpin Jax
He didn't even bother to take the bloody trims off [/b] Why should he? That's one less thing to buy. Makes sense to me
riveting
Why should he? That's one less thing to buy. Makes sense to me but it would be more to end up painting & what screen acurate paint would you have to use
