ATA Bucket Build[*ATA]
naatsirhc replied to Midnyt17's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
I think you are doing pretty good so far. I would suggest looking at the many ATA build threads that are in the Assembly Mods section(not the TE derived section, which was added later). Many of the questions and problems you have and will face are covered in those threads. Not so say that what I did with my build is what you should do, but you can easly find my build by accessing my profile. I used the information I gained from others along with my own ideas to build my ATA kit. TK 4510 has a great painting tutorial which will show you a great way to paint your bucket, it is in the Build or Tutorial section and should still be pinned. Good luck and keep up the good work! -
That is a great looking Jawa, I plan on doing one of these this fall. I am glad you enjoyed my ewok build. LMK when you get started on that, I will answer any questions to help you along the way. I hope you two have many great troops together.

STILL NO REPLIES FROM WYATT
naatsirhc replied to tk7713gra30's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
Graham, I can understand your frustration, but you need to realize what he is going thru. I am sorry, but his wife is way more important than your belt. I just recently lost my baby daughter and I could care less about everything right now, I have not paid all my bills this month and have not been able to work. I have had several dealings with Wyatt and he always came thru, he will make it up to you( patience ). I bet he asked about your address again because he sent you 2 belts already at his loss. So, try to take this the right way and wait it out. You might want to source out a new belt, like from Firebladejedi. He is in the UK and makes great belts( I personally own one ). I am sorry for your trouble and I hope your dilema is resolved in the near future! Christaan -
Here is a shot of me, I have Paul's older style. The new width and shape of the ones he does now should be right on,IMO. I look forward to my upgrade

naatsirhc replied to Blastmaster's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Looking good, nice job The only thing I think you need is the shot of your bucket with inside light showing lens color. Is your ESB next? Congrats in advance -

What is wrong with the Disney armor?
naatsirhc replied to Bernard's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Wow! I would love to see the Disney armor re-worked, it really bothers me every time I see the jedi training show. I went yesterday for my birthday, my daughter finally got picked and faced Darth Vader. I asked one of the tech guys why the suits were mixed up between ANH and ROTJ, his reply " those are screen used suits from LFL". He went on to say that they only have 4 suits and LFL checks w/ them regularly to make sure they still have them, they are stamped inside someplace LFL. The guy was really convinced that these were real trooper suits, I found this very disturbing. It think it is great that you are considering making better armor. I think all of the actual armor issues are covered above, but I would like to say something about strapping. I really do not like the fact that you see the clips holding the thighs up and the shoulder strapping needs to be reworked. My 2 credits! Thanks -
Hello everyone, I thought I would throw this out there to see how many ESB TKs are going to the comic con this year. I think it would be great to take some photos of all of us together. This is our year, I am looking forward to meeting fellow ESB troopers. I have only trooped with one other here in SoCal. If your ESB and going to Comic Con please chime in here Thanks

4 Set Build!
naatsirhc replied to theunemployedstormtroopers's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Congrats on getting armor! There are many build threads out there that go into great detail about helmet assembly. TK 4510 has video tutorials on the boards for free or you can obtain a full color manual from him. I am really unclear about what you need to snug up, you do not need to tape your bucket together like that weird diagram. That thread is also about a VT helmet, is your helmet VT and your armor ATA? From your photo I can't tell, the detail in the face plate is washed out in the picture. If it is ATA, myself and several others have done detailed build threads which will give you everything you need to make a successful build. Happy trimming! -
That is awsome! I totally needed the laugh, thanks for posting this

Don't make me take my belt off!
naatsirhc replied to Shooter's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
I too used Firebladejedi's technique of attachment, could not be happier. I am also sporting his ESB canvas belt, which is awsome( holds my leather holster w/ blaster very well). Here are a few pics back http://i687.photobucket.com/albums/vv240/tkvontrooper/ATAbuild/ata140.jpg ab plate http://i687.photobucket.com/albums/vv240/tkvontrooper/ATAbuild/ata136.jpg hope this helps -
Great pics Jesse, Thanks! I love those 3-d pics and video, it is so cool to see them move. Cograts

Hey everyone, My wife is 8 months pregnant w/ number 2. I thought it would be fun to see how many troopers are expecting this year or have recently expanded the Empire. Even better, post pics of your Imperial baby bumps if you have them. I'll go first Congratulations to all the proud parents
-
Thanks Ryan! The way we made them, they actually are very similar to our buckets. I will be putting up a build thread on the RPF this week, and you can see the process. If you guys think I should do a build thread in this section I can, I just figured that a Rebel costume build on the FISD would be a no-no and not appropriate. So look for ewok build on the RPF soon( those interested ).

I saw the pics that Bender posted on the SCG board. I hope he posts more here. Congratulations on being able to suit up and take pics. It would be great to see more shots of the area. It must of quite a trip.

Very nice! Even better than the Jawa costumes I often see Legion members' kids wearing. Thank you Brian, Your right you don't see too many ewoks out there You guys did an awesome job. very well done indeed. Thanks Nathan, with your standards that is a very big compliment Awesome costumes. yours and your daughter's. I love how Star Wars can be something that families can enjoy together. Thank you Daniel, The whole family got involved on this build. My wife is 8 months pregnant and got behind the sewing machine to make the jumpsuit, which was her first time following a costume pattern. Awesome! How did the kids react to trooping? Did the fun outweigh the heat of the costume (I hope)? Those Ewok faces are spot on...very nice job. Thank you Vic the nice compliment, The kids toughed it out in the heat. It was around 90 degrees, my daughter caught the bug and got in character and really enjoyed posing for pictures. She found a bench inside the library and had her own line for pictures. Amazing work!! Thanks Chris, We had so much fun at this event that my wife is considering going Rebel with her Leia costume. I look forward to many more good times sharing my love of SW with my family. Wow! That is too cute! You have amazing talent! As short as I am, I would probably be a better Ewok! Thank you Julie You will be fine as a trooper, we just need to get you a bucket Here are a few pics I got Thanks Curtis for chiming in and posting those great shots I did not even see that blaster, way cool!

naatsirhc replied to TK_LEPER's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Very nice armor! It is good to have a couple of sets of side gap material, for fluctuating weight. I have been shedding some pounds myself and am almost ready to lose the shims You are almost there, always good to have another EIB! -
Happy Birthday Sir! Hope it was a good one
