  1. You don't want to glue the belt buttons on until you've attached the ammo section to your belt.
  2. I totally agree, as I said before I had the same problem, the sniper plate wouldn't line up straight. So what I did was glue the centre 1st the force the sides into position. the only pic I have gluing the knee sorry.
  3. I'm filing this one away for a rainy forum day. Looking sharp Sister. Aloha, -Eric Haha I like it
  4. Hi Ingrid, I had trouble with my AP sniper plate too. What I did was glue the center 1st then when that was set force one side into position and glue, then repeat on the other side.
  5. Brow trim looks dodgy too.Like it been glued on the outside and starting peel away. how much do they want for it?
  6. The problem you might have with mixing parts on your kit is they may be a difference in color and then you would have to paint it.Which by the way is screen accurate
  7. very nice, that's the first one I've seen painted and will take some beating
  8. Very cool! Did the tube strip template take any paint off when you removed it?
  9. Hard to say whats going on with the thigh ammo belt.Could you take a pic of the ammo belt from the inside so we can whats going on there? Maybe if you pull it down a bit to expose a bit of the join line. The sniper plate on the left knee looks fine to me.
  10. the cover strip should end where it meets the detailed area at the end of the thigh and yes thats way too wide, you should be able to see some of the raised area where the two half's meet.
  11. Great job ,It's hard to believe but It looks like the HDPE lids have more detail then the PVC lids that RS make. I wonder if anyone's game to put a few paint runs on the helmets, but far as the chipping go's im letting mine happen naturally
  12. I think you could bring the chest up a bit ,you shouldn't be able to see that amount of black under the helmet.
  13. Great gob on your helmet Reza, Though to me It looks like you could trim the eyes a bit more. You can see the outline where the original eyes were cutout ,I would trim them back to there. Just a suggestion but if your happy with it then leave it.
  14. DANGER!! put that away. I found score and snap to be the best method.
  15. The thing I cant understand is that they don't have this suit behind glass or locked away somewhere. The Armor is a antique and has got to be worth a small fortune and they are letting every body touch it. Stop touching it everyone!
  16. Interesting, In that pic the siman suit looks like it does have inner shins.
  17. Start a build thread and post a pic of your problem and progress of coarse .Theres plenty of people here that can help.
  18. I'm Gluing mine now. I may be in a different boat then you because I swapped the shin parts over R L, L R not L L, R R.I wouldn't worry to much if it doesn't line up perfectly. Also I've increased the width of my cover strips on the leg's from 20mm to 22mm
  19. looks like you have done a good job putting your armor together.Your belts to low is the only thing I can see.
  20. here's how i did mine. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=16588&st=40
  21. It faces inward ,there's a strap that comes from the back plate that connects to it holding the two back and the front together. So it does have a purpose.
  22. Thanks that got it. If everything else fails use a hammer.
