  2. Stormtrooper white applied (aka Appliance white). Its a slight off white colour and should be a good match for the abs armour .
  3. Over at starwars helmets youll see a couple of sandtroopers without ears and where the ears were you only see the HDPE green,so thats why I think the helmets were assembled first then primed.
  4. So today I decided to paint my helmet. 1st off I gave it a light wet sand to take some of the sheen off the helmet. Then a light coat with a red oxide primer. Tomorrow I'll paint it stormtrooper white
  5. I think he means the vocoder (chin area). Its a good idea to draw an outline with a pencil then paint it with a good quality brush.
  6. I couldnt find it either and just went with the red oxide primer.Great job the by the way I hope mine turns out that well.

  9. I think it Looks good but the biceps, forearms and right thigh look like they are a big on you.Depending on what glue was used should be an easy fix. interesting that the right eye isn't as flared as the AP helmets normally are, which I think is an improvement.

  11. Looks awesome dave, maybe you could hide the gap under your belt.
  12. Thats a tough one..maybe repaint it,but how are you going to redo the paint chips? Also how do we know what shade of white these lids were painted in the 1st place.
  13. Here's how I did mine I think they were a 2 inch shim as well. (you'll find it half way down the page) http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=16588&st=40
  14. I'm not sure if it matters but the elastic or webbing for the drop box's originally went inside the end rivets, the box's aren't actually held on them. by attaching them like this brings them in level with the end of the ammo belt.
  15. just copy and past the IMG to your post. no need to link photos to your bucket account
  16. I've never built a thermal detonator before, why do I need to screw on the clips 1st?
