    I re did the shins now I just got to trim up the right shin. The original strapping for closing the back of the shins.

    The paint comes off easy with turps and I think the cause of your problem was the abs dust that you can see on the face of your helmet .Once it got onto your brush it was everywhere. I'd also think your paint could be contaminated.

    So how are they different to the ROTJ lids?Is it just the decals? Where abouts in the movie do you see them?

    good advice!You cant go wrong with those two makers,but it also comes down to height and weight. So how tall are you Nick and whats your weight?

    $61 +99 p&h = $160 then You would have to ditch the helmet(FX lids arnt approved),so add another $200 for a decent lid =$360 and thats if you can get for $61 in the fist place. Now you are better off taking that $360 and putting it towards some armor from a reputable seller.I hear ATA sells armore at an affordable price

    I dont think there is a right or wrong answer here when you have four outer shin parts. Anyway I think the swap has made a slight improvement .The glue's drying on the right shin now and I dont plan on switching the parts again. Thanks Chris i'll check it out.

    ok Ive pulled them apart and swaped the parts over. I think it has made a difference.You be the judge. At the backs at least you can see the inner calf definition.They have got to be a better fit like this. im going to glue tomorrow anyway and we will see what happens.

    seeing the two shins next to each other it looks like your right. But can you have one more look and let me know what you think before I pull them apart? The right shin on our left The right shin on our right

    They should be OK .The four shin piecers were marked L & R.I was thinking left leg right leg,but it could be left inner right outer.

    Thank's guy's Ok back onto the armor. The left shin I'm not to sure about.The outer side is inchers bigger then the inside. But at the back both sides are the same size. Do I assemble like Ive got it or what??

    I got the ears to fit straight up.I made a couple of stupid mistakes and had a to re adjust the face plate a couple of times and now I have a few more holes under the ears then I would like.

    Helmet assembled! It wasn't easy and I made a bit of a mess of it, but its together. May take a touch more of the ears they look pretty thick.What do you think?
