  1. The thighs are done and the right shin is fixed at the front, I just got to add a strip of abs at the back and the elastic and hooks. No velcro here. Armor build on hold while I start on the helmet.
  2. Look postman Jack'o with a box, what could it be? The HPDE helmet is here! The detail is even sharper then my RS pvc lid. Check out the sharp edge on the right eye. and on top of the nose. on the lower jaw
  3. thanks Chris a pic or at lest the paint brand would be good.Im not to sure about the correct shade of white but also the type of paint enamel or acrylic
  4. But RS has an original helmet which they would have matched the brow trim.
  5. I wouldn't worry about the ear gap and I don't want to be negative but it looks like your helmet is getting pushed in at the ears. Check out the difference with the tear traps from unassembled to assembled they are less visible and in the 2nd pic and the right ear is disappearing behind the eye.
  6. Yep,though i'm un sure of what type primer and paint I'll be using.
  7. mmmmm...Looks great but are the right side of the helmet's tube strips are facing the wrong way? Also the ears need to be trimed back more, you can still see the trim line.
  8. G'day Tony, theres no armour makers in Australia.I dont know for sure but ATA might be in price range. list of armour makers here. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=11538 Good luck
  9. Working out how much to cut off.Theres plenty of plasic to work with. Glueing on the back joining strip with a tad to much glue.
  10. You getting the armor too marcus, well done buddy! Yep gunna paint my armor too thanks to Rolf for pointing me in the right direction.
  11. for the thigh armor I copied RS's build and use a 10mm strip of abs to mark the line i need to cut. The front 1st glueing the 20mm cover strip I'll trim the back to fit when the glue drys (I ended up going back and redoing the cover strips and made them 22mm)
  12. On the back side of your thigh I think you want the over lap facing the inside of the leg so the outer thigh is over lapping the back if you know what I mean. Looks good so far
  13. Looks like he may have had some trouble.I can see some sort of casting defect on the left hand side of the chin area.
  14. Glueing the ab plate buttons.I would have painted the buttons before I glued them but im think of painting whole armor. now on to the legs.
