  1. Yep I'd trim the helmet right back to the helmet ears for a start, but that wont help your cauliflower ear's, you will have to trim under the chin and the back of your helmet a little at a time.It looks like you have plenty extra at the back.
  2. you simply cant because of the magazine is on left side of the blaster.
  3. I think your suit looks awesome! Like Its come straight out of the movie.Rather then using the suspender method, try lengthening your chest and ab loops. That should bring you chest armor down.
  4. Whoops I just re read you 1st post Its ealy in morning here..
  5. If you really want to see how wonky they are, looking over the top of your helmet. The face plate faces a different direction to the cap.
  6. Im still using the old version. Its really slow to upload the Photoshop page and the the last 7 or so photos are not loading up.
  7. Is Photobucket playing up or is it just me? Just that my last few uploads wont load.anyone else having trouble?
  8. If your 5'10-5'11 you dont need an RT mod as there are made for larger troopers and stay away from AM as well. anything else would be fine. ATA seems to be an affordable choice but if you've got the dollars I'd go with RS or TM there the ducks nuts.
  9. just remember the butt plate on the originals has a return edge so don't cut to much off.But then again the kidney plate is meant to have a return edge so maybe don't worry about it...or do.
  10. That look like the way to go, or do you cut the notch out of the kidney plate and cut the butt plate back even further. I guess cut it back like you got it marked and then see.
  11. the notifications have never worked for me except PMs
  12. Thanks Kevin, My build is done! As you can see one end cap did suffer a few cracks,I make up some abs paste and try to fix it that way. The finial piece of the puzzle.
  13. I wish I had a lathe and milling machine.
  14. assemble the shin first like you have it in the first couple of photos, but use cover strips dont lap join unless your building ROTJ armour. Then what i did was glue the center of the sniper plate first then force the sides into place and glue.
  15. The back where it closes looks a average, but over all it looks good to me
  16. Good news I got the replacement caps today and they slide strait on. So once I assemble the thermal detonator I'm finished.
  17. So whats the story about that armour ? Ive seen those photos before, surely it was modded after ANH
  18. cast off original ANH armour ,great guys to deal with and a few options for you to pick from too (TK,TD,PVC,ABS and the HDPE helmet). I love mine. My only regret is... I dont have two.
  19. So all I've left to do is the thermal detonator but I've hit a snag,as you can see I've stuffed the end caps well and truly. 1st Id tried boiling water ,that resulted with a crack the 2nd a heat gun... I dont know how your meant to get the caps on when there the same diameter as the pipe. By the way I sent RS an email requesting some new caps.Rob immediately got back to me and put two new caps in the post that afternoon,no charge.
