  2. YOU sir, are the man! Thank you amigo. T
  3. Do it, do it, do it! Too sad about OTBD - I stole a link and keep looking at it...it looked very, very good. T
  4. What da!!!!??? What happened to the smooching trooper? Hey wait a minute, he looks our FISD Trooper! Kool bro. T
  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Congratulations Paul! I am so honored to be here and be a part of your staff. This calls for a drink... Fresca anyone? T
  6. From what I understand, ATA molds were fabricated from CAP molds. In essence, this is new armor - even though ATA "derives" it's origins from TE molds. There is only one item that has a "direct-link" to TE2. I'm going to leave it up to ATA if he wishes to reveal what that piece is. T
  7. There's stormtroopers in ROTJ??? I only saw Slave Princess LEIA... T
  8. Hi Greg, I'm working to get your armor off to you by Saturday, July 11th via international priority mail. I will PM with info. T
  9. Great photos Jonathan. Thanks for posting those. I sees what you mean. I guess TK-4510 may just have to take that 2 1/2 hour drive after all... Can't believe I'm getting excited about an ROTJ bucket. T
  10. Very different. I always thought the shade was just a lighter blue. Now that we have GREAT reference photos, TK-4510 may have to rethink the color sample bar that he provided early. Mesa thinks that the color is more purple-ish than a blue... But what do I know...nothing. I'll leave it up to the young master. T
  11. Greetings Mr. Newlywed, sir. If I may ask, what's the latest offer? T
  12. CA Boots are a very good choice IMHO. I've got a pair for my TK and a pair for my TD... And when I heard they were no longer going to manufacture these bad boys, I went ahead and purchased two more pairs for insurance. T
  13. Great to see this young master posting again... T
  14. packing...packing...packing... T
  15. I see you've been busy my friend... Shoot, I'm gonna have to try and locate some ROTJ reference pics. But I'll have to go with the young master...7545. T
  16. Well boss, They were certainly speaking of you! I'm sure I can speak for your command staff when I say "Thank you for being that example." T ePS: I love you guys...group hug!
  17. I remember at CIV in Los Angeles, we were required to check in our "weapons" and have a florescent green "tie" placed on it. As in Hawaii, California has a very strict "replic guns" law. At our yearly Kawaii Kon, a "tie" weapons program is used to account for our blasters. If you don't mind the hassle, I'd fabricate an orange-colored plastic tip/cap that you could screw into the barrel of your E-11. When you're in a more "blaster friendly" environment, you could unscrew the orange cap and stow it away. I have to admit that taking pictures with orange-tipped weapons is lame but events have rules and regulations for public safety. T
  18. Since this is an official detachment of the 501st Legion, the subject of recasting has already been addressed and is available for those who might be interested in reading it. I don't see this thread as offering anything more that would benefit our community at large. Unless the powers-that-be feel otherwise, I'm closing this thread down. The bottomline for those interested in purchasing white armor is to do your homework and... "CAVEAT EMPTOR" T
  19. Friends... According to reliable sources, this unfortunately represents the first public display of TE2 recasted plastic armor. T
  20. Just a reminder...this thread is here to celebrate Armando's bucket. Keith, I know your position on recasting. Nathan, I know where you stand on that subject also. Troops, let's keep it on topic or I'll delete the offending post(s) and I'll lock this thread down. T
  21. Happy Fathers Day to all! Remember guys, anybody can be a father...it takes someone special to be a "daddy"! Have a great day dads! T
  22. Hi Derek, From what I've heard, WEBERS is a good alternative. I've never used it myself, I can only tell you that the brow trim from the U.K. is a good quality rubber. And yes, after the S/H and depending on the currency exchange, the trim from the U.K. is rather expensive - but worth it if you're looking for that "screen-accurate & authentic" look for your bucket... T
  23. plastic...plastic...plastic. T
