  1. Stick a fork in this thread...it's done. T
  2. Now that is something I can agree with. DL's fingerprints are all over the TE/TE2 molds. It great to see his progress. T
  3. Please allow me to add my sincere appreciation to all veterans, past & present for their service to our country. Freedom isn't free... MSgt, USAF (Ret)
  4. Hey No1, Here's a screen-grab of a background stormtrooper holding an E-11 in the carbonite scene, TESB: -------- If you notice, the HENGSTLER counter is missing and the barrel is minus a T-track. I've asked the guys at Sci-fire to fabricate an E-11 without the HENGSTLER counter for my TESB armor. T
  5. Daniel, With your concurrence, I will be locking this thread. I believe you have the answer you were looking for. T
  6. Oh yeah!!! PM sent for a personalized/signed copy. T
  7. Joe, I am so sorry to hear of this tragic news. Life events are sometimes senseless, especially when a real trooper makes the supreme sacrifice in the name of world peace. My sincere heart-felt condolences for the family. T
  8. "Scoop-cut" the bottom of the thighs and the top of the calves. Trim a little here and a little there until you get the freedom of movement you desire. That's what I've done on both my TD and TK armor. Don't trim the top of the thighs...I think that would really hurt the overall appearance of the armor. Comfort and function is worth a little plastic sacrifice in the rear... ...the majority of your photos will be from the front...hopefully not the rear... T
  9. Hawaii is the 50th state of the union... We're treated like a fourth world country. T
  10. Jason, you started this thread as a service to all. Thank you. If you are satisfied with your intended results, personal digs at TE notwithstanding, I shall deem this thread closed. So let it be written, let it be done. T
  11. Thanks Joey for your post. People either love him or hate him. I'm certain that everyone concerned knows where I stand... The difference you speak of is the fact that "he is The Master". T ePS: Could you ask him about MY helmet...
  12. Hey Doug, What about this one from Ayn Rand: "There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil." T
  13. But it's not always about the money my friend... T
  14. Guys, I'm humbled. Thank you, thank you very much. T
  15. Heehee! Jez, you must be a fellow golfer! Cheaper, imitation golf clubs are also known as "knock-offs"... "Recast" = "knock-off" I love it. T
  16. Even with his flaws, the Master is much better than the Apprentice. T
  17. An upcoming post in the "garbage compactor" perhaps??? T
  18. Hmmm...VT. VacTrooper. VT. I wonder... T
  19. Hang in there amigo! Best wishes to you & kids. If I can ever be of assistance, you just let me know. Aloha, T
  20. Gosh, Just like so many others, life here in paradise has gotten so hectic lately. Sheesh! It's not even the holidays yet... I really got to do some yard work this weekend. Got to wash & wax the Mustang for an upcoming IA inspection. Clean the house. Do laundry. Oh yeah...pull plastic. I'm so behind in my orders and new orders keep coming in...(not that I'm complaining ) Have a great weekend gang whatever you're doing... T
  21. Thanks Nathan. Boklast/Jason it appears that you've got your answer. No matter what side of the fence you're on, no matter what camp you're in, no matter who you claim allegiance to, everyone in this hobby will have a opinion the subject of recasting. This thread has been answered and now will be closed. I invite all who wish to discuss or debate the subject of recasting to take it off-line. T
