I think your helmet outshines anything I have seen in a long time dude. The hand painting is just amazing. Your attention to detail is incredible. You really did well. Send it to me for inspection and I can really give you my full opinion

You guys are welcome to send anything you want forwarded to Tony to me just PM me for my address. Suggestions: DVD's, get well cards, anything star wars related, keep it small and light. Patches, shirts, stickers, letters, stuff you would want if you couldnt get up and move around easily. Pictures, cross word puzzles, or my personal favorite.....comic books. This situation really sucks. I hope Tony is going to be OK. lets set a deadline for the end of March. So you need to move on this quickly if you want me to send it over with the other stuff. I will pay shipping on my end to Tony.

I would be happy to volunteer getting everything packed up and sent out from my place in one nice box. Or we could do it individually as well I guess. Getting letters and nice things from his friends would be cool and make him feel better for sure

I am no authority on painting HDPE, but I am thinking that this paint may not be the best choice for a plastic that is that flexible. There was a guy on FISD that was an automotive painter. He mentioned that there was paint that was moere flexible for this kind of application. I think if you use this paint you should not wear it. But thats just my opinion, based on what I have read here elsewhere. Do a search for HDPE.

I dont like it. #1 Because its not going to be high enough quality. #2 Because the price is not competitive with better quality armor. #3 Because the I think its going to become something that alot of people will buy to be like us, which may effect our "standing out" as an organization.

If you are going to paint TM's way is how you do it. You can get pin striping tape at any auto parts store.
