  1. It sounds like you need to cut the top of the faceplate so it can sit closer to the cap. To get the raised brow you want to tilt the face. Have you watched the TK-4510 tutorials? I felt the same way when I started to cut but theese helped alot! http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=6353 http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=2066 My advice would be to use a promodel helmet (real one is coolest imo) and try to get the look of that. Go slow, cut little by little. Hope that gave any tips! Edit: I missed that you allready used the tuts.
  2. Thatnks mate. Cool with the CAP. Looking forward to seei it!
  3. Received the accurate brow trim from Paul the other day and it looks very close to the original! It was no problem replacing it and Id recommend replacing the original trim to this if building the ATA. So except me keeping an eye out for correct green acetate for lenses, the helmet is DONE! Cheers
  4. I have always thought of the decals as glossy in apearence, on the pic above it appears rather flat. Is the ESB also flat?
  5. Great thread! Thanks for sharing the knowledge guys!
  6. Oh I really really hope they would use guys in nice wonky stormtrooper costumes and not go the CGI route! I wouldnt put my money on it though.
  7. Thats very nice! The gloves might need to be replaced.
  8. LOL that was sweet! Heres a revoiced swedish version with sound from old swedish films.
  9. Thank you guys! Obievon, this is the big AT-AT kit from Revell Germany, with alot of mods done to the head. Cheers
  10. Its finished! Was a fun build. Do you build models? Heres a pic, I add more later.
  11. Hi and welcome! You will find that you have a lot of options and reading to do. My advice is to read around here and get the basics. If you have any questions this is the place to be!
  12. Well deserved Jeffry! LOL about the eyes, I worked alot to get my eyes looking like the originals. If you haven glued the necktrim, you could turn it so the gap is behind the vocorder, and the bridge wount be noticeable. Maybe Terrell could send you replacemnet screws?
  13. Jez seem to think its some kind of pill box. I do prefer the button panel, so therefore Id def go with that look. Aw this makes me want to get at TIE helmet...
  14. To me this post pretty much answers everything and IMO clears up the questions asked.
  15. Oh no my neerdness just reached new highs, as those pics gave me goosebumps. I think its so cool and supportive to the hobby that Mr Bulloch does this!
  16. Wow, really like the look of it! The helmet looks close to the originals and makes me think of the Stop that ship trooper (which is one of my favs!) except the teeth! You nailed the profile, which I think is kinda tricky so well done. I love that you made the eyes rough as the originals too. Very nice! The weathering looks very good and balanced on the pics. Did you base the neck trim gap on a special trooper? Havent seen that variant before. The pics could fool me, but is only 2 screws on each ear? A really really good suit! Can you post pics on the helmet interior?
  17. Hey, nice TIE Pilot! Just kidding . That looks AWESOME! And I think you did a good choice for the helmet! Well done! Is it hard not to scratch?
  18. I also played REBEL ASSAULT 2! Not a bad story. And when you crash the MF you got a cool clip of two troppers and one asks "Did you hear anything?" "Nah its nothing." Didnt they film new stuff with David Prowse for that game?
  19. Yeah, a little crazy, but hey its a cool project!
