  1. I'd like to see them phased out TBH Not banned but just new members encouraged to do a pipe build About the same cost and the same process.... You glue things to a base. Base is an accurate pipe rather than the hasbro
  2. Great to meet you finally Mark! Many thanks for donating this sir. Many to the the 'build a TK' lads for taking this on. It's a really great way to get people interested in what we do Glad you enjoyed seeing what we can do Mark In a way you're helping put a smile on kids faces
  3. Are these troopable with your GML and garrison or are they just for display and stuff?
  4. Only the front part has the slope. So you can cut the rear one off
  5. Sweet baby Jesus!!! Ace! Now then, you gonna get in that, join the UKG and come play with us on weekends
  6. Took me about 4 goes but thanks It's easier than you think. If you mess up, catch it when it's still wet and wipe off with the white spirits Easy for the tube stripes. Not so easy on the traps. I painted over my mistakes twice I think lol, but easy to do
  7. Good man. I had to use it on mine as mine was a seconds lid so it was sprayed. Top job. Looking forward to the rest
  8. Exactly I don't mind forking out more £ if you need it
  9. Am I one Karin? Recently paid you for 2
  10. Hand painted for the win Here's my GF all done by hand
  11. Mine bled too. You just let it dry for a dry and flick it off with a scalpel
  12. I hand painted mine with 2 strips of masking tape I messed up often so just used white spirits to wipe them off As for the tears, same again 2 strips but with a ruler to do the vertical lines. I used a uni posca pen for those Just use white spirits and try again Or have you sprayed your lid white anyway?
  13. The areas have been filed, sanded and wire wooled back into nice lines Too tired to post pics now but will post some soon. Most short guys should like the areas trimmed
  14. Cheers lads Yeah the thigh won't go up anymore, I'd have to do a return edge mid sadly. I've made these very snug so it may not even if I did. It is the length of the thigh yes. I've already cut the ankle off. May cut some more I know those edges look bad, but it was a test cut. They've been smoothed off Busy working on my snowie ATM. Doing a 'centurion' style make over to it
  15. They used several scopes dude. So which you pick is fine M38, M38 A2 (M40) and M32 (M19). They all look very much like one another, just different in terms of length Here's a good reference for you. http://www.partsofsw.com/e11guide.htm#Scope
  16. One thing I always get wrong is spraying. Nice tips
  17. Stunning mate Bathroom sealant ears?
  18. Cheers matey Mine edges will be trimmed down yes, that was just a test fit
  19. Yes please sir I think I'll order new legs but if I can fix these, great
  20. Looks pretty cool but the belt hoops are in the wrong place, kind of..?
  21. I make them but I also gladly show others how to as well. Heat, spoon, bingo! I've posted this up as have others. I make mine on mass using a machine though. I get a much better controlled curve than by using a spoon
  22. Yep totally fine and too be expected The hero helmets were made from ABS but the stunts from HDPE This behaves differently to ABS and is more elastic, so you see more of the little bumps etc. HIPS is much the same, it will seek out all the detail. The thinner the plastic, the more detailed the end result will be. We're not sure if a new mould was used in 76 for the later ABS heroes or not, (ears yes) but the different plastic explains why they don't look identical, regardless. But as Dash said, it's fine just thought you'd like a quick lesson in plastics Edit: ah sorry. I couldnt see the pic cos of my iPhone. That's a bad mould an the owner should brush that up I feel. 5 minutes work
  23. Well done matey! Pleasure to help out dude, pleasure Looking forward to seeing you at a troop so my advice is, if you haven't got one already, get a RomFX or something ad it almost trebled the fun to be had
